458 [2009-2015] [Spy Shots] More Extreme Ferrari 458 - To be called Monte Carlo?

The Ferrari 458 Italia (Type F142) is an Italian mid-engine sports car produced by Ferrari. The 458 is the successor of the F430, and was first officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. It was succeeded by the 488 GTB (Gran Turismo Berlinetta) in 2015.

Most likely coming next year with close to 600 hp and weight savings around 100kg.
Should be an amazing car to drive.

It certainly won't look better than the last one, considering that pic.

Not a huge fan of Ferrari's current styling language. First time that's happened with me.

It does look pretty hot now that I see it again. I just think the 360 Modena body (adopted by the 430 Scuderia) is so classically yet timelessly Ferrari.

Can't stand the crude headlight implementation and hammered-up hood shutline look of these new ones.

Could be called Monte Carlo or Challenge Stradale

A hotter version of the Ferrari 458 Italia is allegedly due in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Set to be called Scuderia (Monte Carlo / Challenge Stradale), the new iteration of the 458 will be lighter than the standard model and could take a few elements from the 458 Challenge race car. In addition, the car could also utilize the know-how earned during LaFerrari development. Chances are the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission will be further tuned and receive new gear ratios.
Other upgrades on the list could include beefier brakes, a stiffer suspension setup and stickier tires. More importantly, the output of the V8 4.5-liter engine will reportedly jump to approximately 600 HP (441 kW) from 562 HP (413 kW). This will be possible thanks to new forged connection rods, remapped ECU, tweaked exhaust and a redline increased from 9,000 rpm to 9,300 rpm. In addition, the 458 Scuderia is rumored to boast active carbon fiber winglets on the rear diffuser.

Spyshots: Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo Spotted Testing on the Streets

This week, Ferrari was caught testing their new 458 Monte Carlo on the streets of Maranello. This new variant is going to be even more sporty then the base model making this the fastest and most hardcore street legal 458 to ever come off of Ferrari’s production line. Although the name Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo is not official, it is the name that Ferrari will most likely label their car.
Like any other sportier variant that Ferrari makes of their cars, this one will most likely be given a weight reduction, an increase in power, and even quicker gear shifts. The Ferrari 458 Monte Carlo is expected to produce around 600 hp from its V8 engine.

As seen in the pictures, it looks as if Ferrari is attempting to hide a stripe of some sort across the car using camouflage. Other exterior differences from the base model include the new exhaust system that is similar to the one used on the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, the special edition wheels, and new bumpers to improve downforce.
After seeing these spy shots, it’s pretty safe to guess that Ferrari is planning to reveal this car at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2013 in September. See you in Frankfurt, Ferrari!

This WILL be the best supercar - I thought the 458 Italia is ONE of the bests, but I'm sure this will be the best.
