In the monthly "Quattroruote" it is reported that the new S class will apparently debut in the spring. I have my doubts

and add that the interior will be futuristic
Don't understand why you got Dislake button..What is wrong with people these days?

F*%$ futuristic I want that classic luxurious feel that you find in a Bentley truck not the gadgetry of an Audi

The headrest of the rear seat looks opulent.

It will be both. There is no way they will throw the baby out with the bathwater with the resounding success the W222 had with is 'opulent' interior design language.

If those headrests are any indication I think the interior will be a big improvement. Those looks very substantial and luxurious.

Seems there will be two types of front headrests. Pics above show a different design from recent shots.

I wish they would splurge, at least on the Maybach model, and use chrome/metal buttons on the headrests like Bentley etc. ..

Finally with a link

MichiB, generally speaking hyperlinking is disabled. Strip the http and www bit before posting and then people can copy and paste the link if they so choose. Also, leaving a post with nothing at all but an (attempted) link in it is likely to get it flagged automatically for moderation.

I've edited your last post so people can see the address.

I also took the trouble to read the article published on JSMB, it is not of recent date and I quote verbatim "the release of sales will take place in September 2020 and the launch on the market in November 2020, overall the class if 'about 4-6 months behind schedule. " Among other things, confirms the two types of door handles, and a screen behind the steering wheel of 12.3 inches..

Came across this in instagram, not sure if its posted earlier, its posted in this page today only.

Luca.
Have you the possibility to read the last quattroroute magazine ?
I've been to its web site and i think they say the new s class is bringing the most advanced head up display in the market.
Can you confirm that?
Thank you

@275others whats with the constant unnecessary dislikes of Luca’s posts, it’s getting out of hand now. I mean he has a point we’ve seen pictures of the S class with less camo. People from this particular section of the forum just don’t know how to use the rating system.

@TATE unfortunately I can read some excerpts, because the reproduction of the article is reserved. "..... one of the most spectacular contents of the seventh Sonderklasse according to some Quattroruote sources could be a head-up display of almost aeronautical dignity ...... there are no official confirmations on the matter, but it seems that the new Mercedes 'hud' is capable of projecting information more than ten virtual meters from the driver's point of view
