GT [Spy shots] 2023 Mercedes-AMG GT Spied

The Mercedes-AMG GT is a series of 2-door sports cars produced by Mercedes-AMG. While not directly replacing the SLS AMG (competing in a different segment), it is the second sports car developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG.

Kind of split lights?
CLE coupe in June and AMG GT coupe in July? Mercedes is on fire.
It would be great to have both almost at the same time to compare them conceptually, especially the CLE is intriguing.

Man it's a hybrid, obviously? So V8? V6? I4?<LOL!

I wonder why couldn't they have solved the packaging issue similarly to the S Class, where the charger cap is symmetrically opposite to the gas cap. I can understand them having to retrofit a solution in the four door version, but a brand new car? I have a short garage and for me it would be a pain in the neck to go and fit this between the butt of the car and the rear wall when parked.

Come to think of it, the E Performance may be a thing to skip for this type of car.... I cannot imagine what an extra 600-800 pounds does to this car handling wise. And, I have not been terribly impressed with the GT 63 E PERFORMANCE acceleration comparisons recently... a M5 CS handily beats it in the stop light.... not that I would ever care for that in the real world, but then what is the point!

This is an excellent point. In the UK garages are usually short and can barely fit a car longer than a C-Class. A 10-20 inches to accommodate charging at the rear could make or break whether a car will fit.

But lets be honest, only a small double digit percentage of e-Performance owners will bother plugging their cars in.
