It appears to accurately resemble the current model. Of course, this is not necessarily a bad thing at all. In fact, this car may just turn out to be spectacular.

It looks like lower, wider, slinkier version of the previous car. That render at the start of this thread is smoking hot and this might be close to that. All of sudden I'm excited. Both ICE and EV versions? The new turbo V6 on board? The eventual cabrio version will be even hotter. Team excited lol.

it looks similar to current one, which is good, because imo it is the best proportioned 4 seat coupe. will it look better than the new benchmark, the LC?

just seen on Autopareri Forum

It's a continued evolution of the previous GT's design and proportions, and that's a good thing since it was nigh on perfect.
Agreed. It could look a bit bland though. Think MC20 style vertical lights, usual Maserati grill, side and should similar to previous Pininfarina GT but more round, rear like a more elegant Giulia with slimmer, longer horizontal lights.

...so...anything new on a possible electric Quattroporte ? Or maybe a Ghibli successor after all ?

This is going to be an epic-looking car. Let's hope it looks great and drives great also. Judging by the positive reviews on the MC20 it looks like Maserati could be getting their mojo back.

Can’t wait to see it unwrapped? A Munich IAA debut?
I get the impression that the IAA Munich is going to be a success, full of visitors, with all the restrictions and online presentations for more than a year and even the one in Geneva that was suspended with everything ready and even the cars inside before the debut .

I think the exterior will look very, though I have some reservations about the headlights. The stacked-looking headlights works well on the MC20, but I don't know how well it'll mesh with a low, wide and long GT body.

What I am wondering is what are they going to do with the interior with this and their other upcoming cars like Grecale since the spartan-like appointments in the MC20 are not going to cut it in these cars.

I agree about the remarks regarding the vertical headlights. The aggresive slanted horizontal headlights on the discontinued Gran Turismo really looked sexy and wide, but the vertical ones might make it look a bit more dull.

Can't wait for this.

I just hope it will get a revolutionary new interior. Their current interiors are pos.

I'm also really looking forward to this car. It appears to be a compelling evolution of the current model-complete with state-of-the-art (electric) tech.

I wonder what platform it is. Must be Giorgio platform. Could we say Maserati badged Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupe (aka 6C)? I wonder if it will have transaxle or it now gets convention automatic with AWD.
