Well, it is not so bad in person surely it is not noticed by the high front, unlike the previous one

No. Hybrid 230e, replacing the 225Xe.

The former 225xe will be replaced by the new 225e xDrive with a higher output, whereas the 230e xDrive is a wholly new addition to the 2 Series AT lineup. Power numbers for the latter are pretty impressive, you’ll see.

The one traditional element I'd say doesn't really jive with the new design here are the plain straight grille bars -- the tall grille looks like a flat 2D print of a cage. Some sort of mesh treatment along the lines of the 2001 X-Coupé Concept could provide more depth and substance while letting just as much air through

Actually i really like the interior. My biggest problem now is, the i4 interior looks old now. Only thing i really don't like, is the missing idrive nob. Seems like touch only. :/

This is outright ridiculous. They really must be struggling with etching the BMWi brand and what it stands for in the consumer's mind. Typically you'd just want a big strong i logo to speak for itself (even if this is just a hybrid and not a full-fledged i2), just like the M logo at the other end of the spectrum doesn't need any explanation, but they chose to sacrifice the visual impact of a big and bold i logo for the sake of a f#cking subtitle
