LS Spy Shots: 2014 Lexus LS

That is the LX, not the LS. The LX uses very similar lights from the current LS.[/qu
Something told that it was the LX and to post the other pic of the LS's front end the one with the F sport design but i never put much thought into it being the LX

First Photos of the 2013 Lexus LS have leaked online:

Is that really it? I'm stunned that Lexus would simply facelift the current 7 year old car and debut an all new or at least one that looked much better/different from the current one???

If that is it then Lexus is toast for the first time in this segment.

Well, they certainly went all-in with the grill. Looks aside, maybe we should wait until we hear more about changes under the skin before we bury the patient.

If this is true, then Lexus has just handed Mercedes the segment. S-Class gonna have it for a while if this is all Lexus got. I just can't/don't believe this, I'm still thinking a totally new car will appear???????????????

Just when we thought things are turning for the better at the Lexus Design department, they proved us all wrong by assaulting our eyes with this.

That is just terrible to say! I'm sure they thought long and hard about this design. Might not be exactly "new", but not that bad to look at. Then again this image hasn't been officially confirmed yet.

Well, I guess I should wait to hear what changes were made under the skin and inside, but I'm really not impressed. This is looks like one step above a significant face-lift, kind of like what they did with the current Toyota Camry. If that is the case, that's a shame because with the release of the LFA and the new GS, I was starting to like what Lexus may have in store for us. It seems like that momentum might be squandered, and that shouldn't be the case. Lexus, unlike the Big German 3, can't rest on their laurels because the German makes can and still sell relatively well. Lexus, on the other hand, still needs to be on the offensive.

But, as it's been said, let's wait till we get more info.

I'd say Lexus doesn't care anymore about overweight boring self driving cargos for grand-fathers. Now they are all about sportscars with LFA II, IS-F II and SC. :D

Oh, they do care. They care so much because that's what pays the R&D bills for cars like the LFA. Those cars, like the ES and RX, sell in droves in the States, China and elsewhere. It's kind of like what the Cayenne, Panamera, and the upcoming Macan is to Porsche...we enthusiasts may not like it, but I'll deal with that if it means they'll put out automotive wet-dreams like the Carrera GT and 918. That way we could feel like kids again and have something to drool at and aspire for no matter how materialistic it may be.

Aside from the new ES coming out, I'm shocked to say that Lexus designs are going even backwards from before, looking more like Toyota's, and looking even more bland/soulless (case in point, warmed over "could be any car" design of the new GS).

I would give them op marks for carving a nice front fascia with strong identity. The tail lights are very Camry on the new LS and the F01 inspired graphics don't mitigate anything.

Funny how they used a photo with a strategically placed aggressively downward character line via a (probably doctored) reflection, when the actual cars sides are completely slab.

There we have it, this is no doubt a slightly more intensive facelift version of the current LS. Good luck Lexus.

I do t want to be too judgmental before July 30 but if. This is what Lexus is what Lexus is bringing to the table for the LS I'm not too impressed after 7 years and a facelift I was expecting something New not just an extensive refresh and the same 7 year old engines they better stun me with the interior
