Front end and side profile from the A-pillar foward are a mess. Car looks unbalanced and ill-proportioned.

I think it's the raking lights and the vertical grill. It pulls the car in too many directions.

IMO proportions and sleek are not the same thing. A car can have goofy proportions or a goofy shape and still be sleek to some degree. This 7-Series is sleek for sure especially compared with the previous car, but there is something wrong with the front end in that picture foward of the A-pillar. Too long, like they've tried to put engine entirely behind the front axle line. The blocky upright front end couldn't be helped I guess with the new pedestrian regs.

You must be the first person (and I guess the only one) in the world who has issues with the proportions of F01 / F02.
If anything really works absolutely perfectly on this car (and any other forthcoming new generation BMW designs), are the proportions.
Btw, as you said: it looks strange IN THAT PIC! I can take a pic of any car - making it looking goofy & unattractive.
Chris did you take a look inside?
Thanks for the photographs Wimmer. What was your impression on the rear end.
Although I like the shape of the tail lights there is too much red? Did the absence of white graphics make the rear end look anonymous?

Anytime.
The rear looks great to me. The lamp design is sporty and perfectly fitting for any BMW IMO.
Trust me, these things look good on the car. See the car in real life and you'll be amazed, for sure.
Although I only got a quick glimpse at it, it looked very nice. Conservative, but at the same time very elegant and the low, sleek posture makes it look sporty too.![]()
^you wanna go ahead and clean the W212 thread aswell?
Why clean threads? I have no idea what expired here between yesterday and today or who said what but you should let the posts stand, it exposes people for what they are. If people resort to personal insults, suspend or ban people, not posts. Just my 2 cents.
