7 Series ***Mysterious BMW 7-Series Spotted by Wimmer!!!***

The BMW 7 Series is a full-size luxury sedan manufactured and marketed by the German automaker BMW since 1977. It is the successor to the BMW E3 "New Six" sedan. The 7 Series is BMW's flagship car and is only available in a sedan bodystyle (including long wheelbase and limousine models). It traditionally introduces technologies and exterior design themes before other models in BMW's lineup.
How was the car ? did you hear the V8 or was there just an earthly silence?;)

I didn't hear it at all, sadly. As you can see there was a diesel Mercedes Sprinter next to it and the other sounds that traffic generates completely covered whatever sounds this car might have made.

But BMW probably doesn't want this thing making too much noise since it is a luxury car and refinement and class are going to be near the top in terms of priorities. :t-cheers:

Yes under Project-i every single BMW model will utilise highly efficient petrol and diesel engines plus a Mild or Full Hybrid model.

This includes our X and Z series.
The emphasis here is to showcase that such cars do not have to be one form or one purpose. MINI-E is the beginning of the very exciting Project-i programme which will cover all forms of mobility for the future.

What?????????? What's happening? Just good joke or something serious? Sorry, i'm not following that much lately...

:t-cheers:

posting here because of the "mysterious" tag... autobild.de has some pics of a new 7-series with a nose job, claiming these are CS prototypes? Thought, CS got axed? What else could it be?

WHAT THE....... :t-crazy2::t-crazy2::t-crazy2::t-crazy2:

Scott, what on earth is this? A 7er with CS front!!!! What are they doing?

I had a marketing meeting the other week held in one of the low level studios at the FIZ, The Concept CS was sitting in the centre floor on the rotating platform.

Whereas I cannot reveal (yet) The purpose of this meeting, It all falls down to one thing " If you love something too much it is difficult to let it go" That is why do not expect to see this car tomorrow.

So, that means there is a hope at least??? And looking again at that picture, i say again, that's not just another 7er, definitely!

Nope! That's one thing we can be sure of. This aint no testing of hybrid systems on the 7er, this is a test mule for something else.....will CS be coming to us after all???? :eusa_thin:eusa_thin:eusa_pray:eusa_pray:eusa_pray

The only rational explanation to a over-camoed F01 and a low-bonnet one too, is that the CS is finally surviving...
Even Beemer bosses were fed-up with the whole Mini and XAV things and wanted a true BMW to see daylight....

Guess all what some of us said was not that stupid after all...and the BMW marketing geniuses not that very superior and brilliant...

It's when the dark times are coming that you need heroes the most. BMW may decided they should be among them after all?
