This is the video of BRABUS Business Lounge for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. If Pullman variant is to be build by Brabus, can we expect such an interior and features?

Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Pullman set for 2015 Geneva Motor Show reveal

Will be 6.4 meters long

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Pullman is expected to make a world premiere in March at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

According to Motor Trend, the Pullman will be even more luxurious and longer than the recently introduced Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and will be offered in an S600 variant. While the Maybach is 5453mm long, the Pullman is expected to have an overall length of 6400 meters and will probably be built by Brabus.

Although in the most recent spy shots the Pullman prototype had door handles for where you would expect the middle doors to be positioned, those were probably fake and the production-spec car will have only four doors.

Unlikely to arrive in United States, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Pullman will be powered exclusively by a twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 engine producing 530 HP (390 kW) and a peak torque of 830 Nm (612 lb-ft). It should be mentioned that S-Class development director Dr Hermann-Joseph Storp has already said there won't be any AMG versions of the Maybach-branded models.

There will also be an armored Pullman version in 2016 which will have an estimated curb weight of 11,684 lbs (5,300 kg) and a hefty $1 million price tag.

Mercedes Benz is yet to unveil the official Pullman variant of the new generation S class. Now the company of Fawcett from Frankfurt has developed a new special protection vehicle based on the W222. The design of the Fawcet W222 is very similar to the prototypes spied earlier in public roads. The engine details and specifications of the S class Pullman is limited.

Is that a safety net in case you fall through the floor when standing up to get out the car!!:);):ROFLMAO:

It must be an armoured variant... look at the panels on the inside of the door:

I am not too sure about the crease lines on the side of this test mule. They don't flow too well.

It Looks Huge...I was expecting the rear to have double sided seating.Lets see what they come up with I hope it will have some nice touches.

This video revels few details on Pullman as mentioned in WCF article. Good to know that 2+2+2 seating arrangement and 6 doors are ruled out. Otherwise it would have looked like a taxi

^ Yes. Stern mentions optional rear facing seating in the Pullman only if ordered as State Limousine, and optional armoring/GUARD. Dr. Z. also officially confirmed the Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Pullman and the S-Class Cabriolet. The latter may also premiere later this year, and arrive at the dealerships in the spring of 2016. :)

Mercedes-Maybach S 600 Pullman? For me it sounds like an overkill. Maybe I thought all along the Pullman would stand above the Maybach in size and luxury and a combination of Maybach and Pullman was not in my mind. :)

Yes, it will definitely be the Mercedes-Maybach Pullman ....now that Maybach is the premium '"sub-brand" for Mercedes-Benz.

I'm still slightly perplexed by this model; is there really such high demand for 6 or 7-seat limos among Mercedes' high-end customers?

Vehicles with this capacity are usually urban people movers .....and the V-class does an excellent job of that already .....and there are plenty of companies that wil convert a Sprinter into a very spacious luxury transporter or mobile office complete with kitchen and WC facilities if required.

^check that out, a 47 word sentence! ......no prizes for my punctuation. Lol.

Yes. The Pullman is a small market, with much individualisation, maybe similar to the coach building area, when manufacturers like Daimler would just offer a drivetrain with wheels, and customers would then work with coach builders to have their cars built, before the Sindelfingen chassis became so popular.

For the W100 600 info from Car and Driver claims only 428 Pullmans, 304 with four doors, 124 with six door jump seats and 59 landaulets, and 41 armored, a small fraction of the total 2677 600s built between 1963 to 1981.

This led Daimler to task Brabus with the building of this model, since the numbers work better with their custom manufacturing operation. Autoweek had a decent article, posted previously in this thread: http://autoweek.com/article/mercedes-benz/mercedes-benz-readies-pullman-limousine

And yes, the van market may be similar to a certain extent. For the V-Class and particularly the Sprinter many custom coach building options are available. And this probably extends to the commercial truck market as well. The options are often too numerous to even bother listing them all reliably in online configurators and such. :)

This vehicle was spotted recently and may have something to do with the upcoming Pullman according to rumors? :)

It would have been nice to see that grill (from the original Maybach 62) on the new S600 Maybach would have made it look more prestigious and unique compared to a standard S class
