Negative. We already published the name a while back. It sticks around but there will be some additional badges included after the XM name.

No. The final name is XM. Just like in the case of another halo model - the iX. The same nomenclature will be applied for a possible, forthcoming flagship supercar - the iM.

No digits, just plain letters for the official title.

In the case of the XM, we'll have an M Performance 45e hybrid, a full-bred XM with over 600 hp and a range-topping XM Competition surpassing the 700 hp barrier.

There won't be any 45e hybrid. The base car will be M-Performance 50e hybrid

Thanks for confirming once again. I was already confident that the split headlights are there, only that BMW are saving the best for last. I am expecting much controversy and debates following the reveal on Nov. 29, just like in the good ol' days.

Given the fact we'll see an all-new M750e next year, it makes sense to have an XM 50e instead of XM 45e.

can't reveal much now, but I can say this: Despite the controversy, it will sell well. Especially in the U.S. It has what it takes. I spent at least 4 hrs with the car, so got to understand it a bit more.
