It's not difficult, it's just that the larger one sells and the smaller one wouldn't match the rest of the car. I estimate that for the next generation there will be changes in one way or another to differentiate the generations.

A luxury car should stand out more from its brethren in the portfolio. BMW long abandoned the “ wurst” philosophy in favour of visual individuality. The i7 is a car that commands presence therefore the huge kidney grill defines it status. The S-Klasse has now adopted this.

It looks youthful in comparison to the soon-to-be phased out pre-facelift model. Like those unnecessary wrinkles on the pre-facelift model are completely gone in the facelift form.
