XM [Rumors] BMW X8 plans

The BMW XM is a full-size automobile manufactured in the United States by German marque BMW since 2022. It is a crossover SUV with a plug-in hybrid electric drivetrain, and is the second car developed entirely by BMW M, after the BMW M1 in 1978. Official website: BMW M

This thing is alien, muscular and hot. I can't say that I'm a fan of the bolded character line, and the interior design is not as bold as the exterior. But we should certainly redo the luxury SUV poll; I'm recasting my vote.

489 hp V8 (why so little)
197 hp electric
total 653 horsepower
0-100 km 4.3 seconds.
EV range 88 km
pathetic
0-62mph
X3M Competition: 4.8sec
XM: 4.3sec

Price
X3M Competition: €75,000
XM: €125,000

Why should anyone consider the XM when the X3M will be more fun to drive and the X7 better looking and more spacious?

If they think that some1 will buy this deformation with that spec and 2’er recycled interior over a G63, Purosangue or Urus, than they must be some form the Anti-Vaccination team at least.

All those have their own thing going though. I don’t see them as competitors. The Ferrari in particular won’t be competing with anything less than a Chiron or Phantom for garage space.

I can't believe BMW put that steering wheel here was it so hard to put the new one ....the X1 has a much more attractive steering wheel!
Interior is based on older BMWs not the new 7er.

Exterior much better than expected.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
