Yep. My passengers barely change the temp, fan or seat controls. I highly doubt they would care about this useless screen, when there is a smartphone in their hand that can do everything and more, at a much faster rate.

The panoramic screen is mostly for the actual driver. You're confusing things with a separate passenger screen.

There are multiple ways the BMW Panoramic iDrive can be evolved. Certainly, many features cand be further refined, w/ the whole layout being enriched. I think it offers much more possibilities for various setup evolutions than a classic screen fitted across the entire dashboard.

He noted that BMW's Cinema Screen isn't a significant innovation that will fade away over time. We'll likely see it in a Mercedes in a few years, and Leylandi will likely cite it as a good and sensible idea.

Panoramic iDrive is still in its early stages. Like iDrive, it will receive continuous updates and expand its capabilities, reaching even higher levels in new models.

Some people like myself get nausious from HUD. Like a seagull poop slosh on the windscreen. Messes with your focus and makes the eyes tired.

I once test drove a BMW that was the dealership manager's daily. I told the sales person that I don't like HUD and he said that neither does his MD and had it already switched off in the car i test drove.
