Exactly. 7er is a very stately and premium looking vehicle. Looks a segment above compared to the previous generation. I personally think it looks better than its rivals.

I went and look back at some pictures of the current G70 rear end. The FL only needs to extend a bit the rearlights to achieve a similar result to the NK rear end. As with the front end, I believe some small changes will make a big visual difference.

For me it's opposite. The rear is gorgeous but the front needs changing.

The front is the best part. It’s like the Pantheon Grille of a Rolls-Royce. Imposing and stately especially at night. Apparently scares the Japanese more than Godzilla ever did.

Not talking about my opinion about the rear as it is. It’s way better than the front end, yup. My point was BMW clearly intends to make the rear more in line with the NK language. And for that to happen, changes needed are minimal.

The current 7 Series has dimensions very similar to those of the Rolls Royce Ghost. With this generation, the 7 Series has moved up to the larger car segment. The most luxurious 7 Series in history.

^ That screen inside does not look to be the new iDrive X control display, but rather the former iDrive 8/8.5, judging by its shape, size, position & dashboard attachment. However, being a pre-series prototype, it does not mean the G7x LCI will not transition to the new iDrive X infotainment architecture.
