Does not appear to be a radical re-skin, but here's hoping the FL is better. And I doubt BMW has many more tech goodies up their sleeves.

Conversely im absolutely certain the FL W223 will be an even more formidable adversary than the pre FL in terms of tech and the design will be an evolution with some updated front grill and light graphic treatments along with some tinkering with the rear lights etc.

It's missing the second set of headlamps. Looks better, but I don't think it looks good either.

The spy shots actually SHOW the ones not present in the render. So if anything it would be the other way around, with the lower ones as the only lights (which would look batshit ridiculous)

No. This could be a Chinese ‘Anything’ so don’t think it will look like that.

It appears to be a G70 LCI that will be at least as extensive as that of the E65 some 19 years ago. In the case of the E65, that LCI presented a significant improvement. IMHO, the E65 LCI cars still look quite attractive even today.

Seems pretty much spot on for a normal BMW Lifecycle.

Looking at the latest photographs you can see the base line of the kidney Grille still around the same size. But it looks as if the sides flare out more, therefore still tall but it's dimensions in length become wider. Just like the S-Klasse MOPF.
But it looks like the i7/7 is being brought into line with the next X7.
The horizontal ribs in the Grille potentially mean this could be the M70 (or M760e?) The i7 now falling into line with other M Performance models.
