That’s not unique. Most front engined v12 Ferraris + SF90 depreciate as much or even more with less mileage from new.

This is from a recent Sotheby’s auction. The Bentley Bacalar list price is $2m before adding spending options which are all bespoke.

Bacalar is an limited car. And it's stupid , given the fact that the Continental GT is almost the same car

As for the SF90...it's a 7 years old car , and it has a depreciation rate ok-ish.

This S63 has over 40% off in just one year. Besides Taycan , I just can't remember any other car with such rate

Maseratis, other Benz models, 6-series coupes, 8-series coupes, there's been several over the years.

If you want good residuals get an S580.

Other cars with catastrophic depreciation have been any V12 Benz.
The 600s and 65s were all 200k brand new in the last decade and all of them were half price within a couple years at most.

My new “old” car since the FL market launch is imminent - Took a bit of time to land on this configuration.

Took delivery of my second W223 S580, now with e-ABC today, and my initial impressions are extremely positive. For context, I’ve owned W221’s with ABC, W222/C217, and a W223 few a few years on Airmatic before moving to this one. That gave me a good baseline for comparison.

The most noticeable difference is how composed and flat the car remains over imperfect roads. Bumps, expansion joints, and broken pavement that would register as minor dips or body motions on Airmatic are often reduced to a brief, controlled movement with e-ABC. The suspension seems to isolate the cabin more effectively while simultaneously improving body control.

What impresses me most is that it doesn’t feel floaty or disconnected like a Rolls-Royce. It still delivers the traditional S-Class ride, but with an added layer of composure that is difficult to grasp until you experience it firsthand.

It’s too early for a final verdict after just one day, but based on my initial impressions, e-ABC feels like a meaningful upgrade over Airmatic. It’s a rare option in many regions - For those fortunate enough to find or build a W223 equipped with it, I recommend going for it. I now get the e-ABC hype.

Congratulations to your new S-Class (y), I am pleased to see that you have the same feelings regarding the E-ABC like me.

As you know I was always a very staunch advocate of this suspension.

Congratulations @sako97 - what a magnificent spec S-Class. I can only dream how beautifully it must ride with E-ABC.
Wishing you many years of smiles, safe miles and satisfying ownership.
