5 Series [Rumors] Any word on details of 2020 5er LCI?

The BMW 5 Series is an executive car manufactured and marketed by BMW since 1972. The car is sold as either a sedan or, since 1991, a station wagon (marketed as "Touring"). A 5-door fastback (marketed as "Gran Turismo") was sold between 2009 and 2017. Each successive generation has been given an internal G-code designation since 2017. Previously, a F-code designation was used between 2010 and 2016, while an E-code designation was used between 1972 and 2010. These are used to distinguish each model and generation from each other.

Agree with you totally, this view of the front vendor where it begins, highlights the odd change...
It's like a sculpture, the way it reinforces the side, doing the curved straight, how it starts and twists as it disappears to appear again depending on how you look at it is great

No AutoZeitung render ever looked good. This is the worst that can be done with all the spyshots that are available. The grill is awful, the lights are too thin. Bad job.

agreed, AZ has some horrible renders, this is one from avarvarii, so won't take any spy shots into account, so won't be accurate.

I have a link in my profile for my render for those interested, not sure if the link shows up, though.

Sorry but the interior of the 7/5/X3 look last gen. I wonder what it would have taken to reengineer the controls/ gear selector etc on the center console?

Whatever the reasoning, it's obviously barely changing (as expected, really), which makes it quite amusing that there's a note to "keep the interior covered" in the spy photo.

Quite odd. I do understand the reason to not update the 7.. firstly it came out a year or so ago and it’s not a high volume seller like the 5.

this is one of the things l am so disappointed of. I so badly want an M550i, but despite the quality/ reliability issues, I can’t pull the trigger because of its interior. The S6 while a more inferior product on paper is so much of an occasion when you sit inside. Audi does a fantastic job with its S/RS products to make them so appealing and special even though they can’t hold a candle to Bmws dynamically
