All the renders we seen lately are just not accurate, so its better not to post here anymore and rather wait for more E-class mules having their tapes removed piece by piece from the headlights and tail lights.

Now the German blogs are saying the M177 will possibly be used instead of the M256 for the E63

"What happened at AMG is not yet known exactly:
The M256 plug-in hybrid could start as the E 53 AMG in a standard P2 configuration with a high electric range. Here the drive train could be taken over by the S 580e (367 +150 hp).

According to the latest considerations, the P3 plug-in hybrid with 204 hp additional e-power on the rear axle could be omitted and bring a revival to the M177 V8 in the E 63 AMG."

Sorry - but this information is incorrect.
I don't know so much, JesMB is one of the better ones to listen to
In the comments section in response to a question on the AMG engine.

"Originally, the V8 M177 with P3 was planned analogous to the S 63 E Performance. but without the max power from the X290.

Then it was said it comes the M256, now it could look like V8 with ISG. but how exactly I don't see through anymore."

then the next reply

"That's right, at the very beginning the M177 P3 from the X290 was planned for the 214. Under the impression of the protests at the IAA in Munich 2021, the plan was then rejected and the M256 P2 came into play. This is what the planning looks like since then, as far as I know. From the info that now (additionally) the M177 should come again (whether as a hybrid or only with ISG), I have not noticed anything yet. Therefore, I would have been interested to know from which direction such information comes."

He might just be onto something.

So....let's see - look how long it took for the S63 to be launched. I read the G wagon is being tested with 8 possible engines. The engine is tried and tested.

The engine line-up consists of OM654M, OM656M, M254 and M256 engines:
E 200 (M254) with 204 + 23 hp

E 350 (M254) with 272 + 23 hp (and 41 hp overboost from M254)

E 450 (M256) with 381 hp + 20 hp (M256)

E 200d (OM654M) 163 + 23 hp

E 220d (OM654M) 197 + 23 hp

E 300d (OM654M) 269 +23 hp

E 450d (OM656M) 367 +20 hp

Plug-in hybrid with a WLTP range of more than 100 km:

E 300e (M254) 204 + 136 hp

E 400e (M254) 252 + 136 hp

E 300de (OM654M) 197+ 136 hp

But I don't know what it's about, the rims or the steering wheel.

I don’t understand why they keep playing this game of cat and mouse with their camouflaged test cars when the actual headlights, grille and interior have already been leaked several times. Why not just come out with the damn thing already? What are they waiting for?
Because they still have to complete pre-production standards on the new model and try and sell all remaining stock across its various markets.
The other factor is that they want to focus more on the new and upcoming artist the EQE. The new E is seen as the older artist trying to make a comeback. But can they recapture that magic especially with the new kid on the block from the same label?

I apologize if I published a rendering but auto motor und sport gives interesting news about the new e-class

The new E-Class generation, which will appear in the summer of 2023, celebrates the really classic upper class with combustion engines.
With a sedan, station wagon – and a big surprise:
At AMG, the biturbo V8 can probably continue to bang!

It’s good at least the E-Class has different frontlights than the S-Class.

The front end is going to look pretty elegan, once that wrap comes off.

Rear 3/4 end view is great, it looks lower and longer than the W213.
