^The point is self-explanatory. You are the one who bought up that the E63 will continue with inline 6 mated with the P3 system producing 700ps.
That does not make sense when the M139 in the C63s all but matches that figure. Unless you can post an article on such a claim to prove me wrong.

Mercedes is downsizing engine capacity to reduce fleet emissions.
Still no official confirmation that there will be no E63 with the W214. It would seem strange they wouldn't given BMW confirmed the G60 M5 with a V8 I doubt MB would leave that market just for BMW alone.

Of course there will be an E63AMG. No one ever said somethibg else.

They won’t. I expect and industry rumours point to a de-tuned carry over from the AMG GT-E Performance, maybe even the full capacity?
It would make sense from a competition and marketing POV against the M5 and its assisted V8 from the XM.

This segment used to be vibrant with choice You also had Jaguar and Lexus battling it out in the 400PS club with the E55 and E39 M5.
Everybody else has surrendered the segment in favour of Electric and SUV’s.
It’s a mystery why Jaguar did not pursue Production of the SVR XE and a S-Type R successor?

Regarding the current gen E63 "Final Edition" I saw all of those articles, and went searching for an official press release from Mercedes Benz themselves and wasn't able to find one. Can someone provide a source from Mercedes specifically, that it will be the last V8 E63, and not from a publication?

That does not exist.

Sounds logical that the E63 will use the AMG GT-E drivetrain just like the upcoming S63.

Sorry, does anyone know if Dr. Hartmut Sinkwitz is still the head of Mercedes interior design? (and if yes, yes he is busy regarding the new class and or has delegated someone)

p.s. I haven't found any of his interviews recently on the internet and thought it all passed to Gorden Wagener

Yes.

"Much closer to reality is Mercedes-Benz’s high fashion-inspired interior refit idea.

Labelled Haute Voiture, a pun on haute couture, which is French for high fashion, it’ll become

available early next year.

“The aspiration was to take the core values and the DNA of haute couture, the highest level of exclusivity and art of fashion, and merge it with our most exclusive, luxurious product, the S-Class Maybach,” explains Belinda Gunther, head of colour and trim.

The big limousine on display features multi-coloured weaves, fake fur floor mats and door pocket liners and a printed leather headlining. It’s very close to what customers will be able to buy, says Gunther.

Her team has designed a variety of colour combinations, as well as a pair of catwalk-

worthy outfits created from the same materials used to fit out the car.

Like it or not, the Haute Voiture treatment certainly answers the questions Hartmut Sinkwitz says launched the project.

“We thought, how can we create something more special?” Mercedes-Benz’s interior

design director explains.

“Something that nobody ever has seen before?”

Mission accomplished."

Thus no 6 cylinder thing is just wrong. A mid level Benz and a I6 were made for each other. Hopefully this will still happen.

M

One of the test mules was registered in Dubai as a "E450" and since the GLC is also receiving a 6 cylinder model(400d, sorry Yanks), I would expect that they will include a few 6 cylinder models on the W214 and the S214.

I also think that behind the cover there is Hiperscreen,
I would not expect here the Hyperscreen, but a mix of the middle screen and some other screens.
