The new C63 already has 680PS so I don't think they would only give the E63 S only 700PS. I reckon they will use the same powertrain as the GT 63S E-Performance with over 800PS. It needs a massive boost in power to distance it from the C63 S. If Mercedes could make it all electric it would be better but that will be left for the next E-class in 2029/2030.

Well we all know BMW will have a V8 for the next M5 and its also their newly designed S68 V8 4.4 L Twin Turbo with the G60 so surly MB will have something similar to compete.

But it wont be any V8 though. An inline six is still on the cards.

It’s the E-performance part that I profoundly dislike, Rolf. I haven’t got any doubt about the power output on paper.

Kukobana, I also think that behind the cover there is Hiperscreen, in my opinion and as an option, I posted this image on purpose to compare a part of the interior visible from the Mercedes E55,

Maybe not exactly a hyperscreen of the electric versions but something similar. One thing is certain to me- from the information I have, there is a passenger screen option in the W214.

I think HyperScreen is exclusive to EQ models only. But do EQA and EQB get the option to specify?

After the smart #1, the new chip will also be used in a Mercedes from 2023 As has now surprisingly become known, Mercedes should already have at least one vehicle with the new Qualcomm CPU family from 2023. This new Snapdragon Ride Flex-SOC series represents the central computer in the car. No further individual control units are then required. The new CPU series is also to be used at Mercedes for displaying the digital cockpit and for processing/calculating autonomous driving. It remains unclear whether this is the new E-Class or whether the MFA2 facelift is meant. In addition to Nvidia, Mercedes is likely to rely on a second supplier. Actually, nvidia had already announced that they would like to bring Level 3 autonomous driving to the new MMA family from 2024.

I agree with you Mick, I am not impressed so far with AMG implementation of the E-Performance technology.

First of all, I don't see it bring any improvement to the environment, only fractionally maybe as it provides a puny 13km of electric only range, which helps the cars in city driving only. But then this is offset by a 200 to 300kg increase in weight, which is a big negative for the cars handling and suspension dynamics. The battery also takes up valuable boot space. The extra weight also effects the cars braking abilities. Fuel consumption does not improve hardly compared to a non-E-Performance model with the same engine. I still am hugely disappointed how heavy the new C63 is at a gigantic 2.11tons for a medium sized saloon is truly pathetic and a massive 300kg heavier than its M3 archrival. It is like comparing the W140 600SEL against the E32 750iL, where the W140 was also a massive 300kg heavier.

Easy guys,63 will be an I6 with P3 sporting up to 700+hp.

99% chance it won`t happen.
The current E63 AMG with the Bi-Turbo V8 was sent off as a Final Edition. Like the W222 S65 AMG, it set sails to the automotive winds not to return.

The next-gen Mercedes-Benz E-Class will go on sale next year, and that will mean new AMG variants. These spy shots catch the E 53 on the road near the Nürburgring.
This E 53 wears a lot of camouflage, but there are some elements worth noticing. This one has an egg-crate grille, and the design is usually how Mercedes hides the Panamericana grille on its AMG products under development. The sedan rides on multi-spoke wheels with a black finish. Large brake discs are visible behind them. At the back, a pair of circular exhausts emerge from cutouts in the bumper.

While it's difficult to see here, the new AMG 53 models reportedly adopt a plug-in-hybrid powertrain, much like the recently revealed Mercedes-AMG C 63 S E Performance. Expect the combustion portion to be a version of the brand's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. This setup makes 671 horsepower (500 kilowatts) in the C 63, so the figure is likely a bit lower for the 53.

The C 63 S E Performance uses a nine-speed automatic with a wet clutch pack, rather than a torque converter. The setup allegedly provides better response than a normal auto gearbox but with improved low-speed refinement than a dual-clutch layout.

We only have a glimpse inside the new E-Class from spy shots. From the little bit that's visible, it looks like what's inside the latest C-Class by having an angled, tablet-style infotainment display on the center stack.

In May, Mercedes introduced the E 63 S Final Edition as a farewell to the existing model. They exclusively came in matte-finished Graphite Grey Magno on the exterior. The 20-inch forged wheels had a gloss-black appearance. It came with the AMG Night Package that added black trim to the body.

Inside, the Final Edition came with the AMG Performance Seat Package High-End package that added Nappa leather in a mix of titanium grey pearl and black upholstery. A plaque on the center console proclaimed this car's number out of the 999-unit production run.

The engine for the special edition is unchanged. The M177 twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 pumps out 604 horsepower (450 kilowatts), and the power goes to both axles.

^So what's your point? and no intend to be like an asshole, but anyone who is following the feed can write an essay like that.

^The point is self-explanatory. You are the one who bought up that the E63 will continue with inline 6 mated with the P3 system producing 700ps.
That does not make sense when the M139 in the C63s all but matches that figure. Unless you can post an article on such a claim to prove me wrong.

Mercedes is downsizing engine capacity to reduce fleet emissions.

It seems the frontlights will be almost the same as the GLC ones.

The highlight of the exterior design, for MB.

Bold, in your face, radical new design from the studios that refuses to make something new.
