The Mercedes E W214 is supposed to have a screen option for the passenger as well.

One thing that makes me wonder... Is Mercedes lazy enough to copy the interior from the EQE/EQS into the new E class ?

Yes they are, the parts sharing has spread like virus across the ICE and EV range.

Guys this photo of the interior appeared on the web about April and, we all believed it was the interior of the EQE / EQS but now we know that it is the interior of the new E class without passenger screen option.

This is a awesome interior but how do u differentiate this from the eqe or are they identical

I did a little research
It would seem that actually this photo is of the new E class and not the EQE.
I analyzed the photos carefully and it seems to me that this is the interior, however, of the EQE and not of the new E-Class:

Check this out: the door storage compartment and the door opening handle connect.

Just like in the EQE photos

In the photos of the interior where we know that it definitely belongs to the new E class the joining is in a different place.

EQE has space under console. but this is not in the photo shared on social media. the gearbox is there.
