Grille seems to be more about length rather than height. A good thing as it make each series more diverse.

I can already tell that this is going to be a winner. BMW never messes up the 5 series. I just wished they would give the other carlines the same amount of love.

In direct (well...as direct as possible) comparision to the G70, the G60 captivates with its' more compact, far less upright and more rakish proportions of the architecture. Also, both front- as well as rearends appear to be more "horizontally accentuated", hence providing the perceptions of planted width/stance. The G70, especially its' rear, appears comparatively "tall and narrow".

It's amazing how much these spy pics reveal. You can see the entire frontlights shape and the side profile lines.

Looks super good. 5er never disappoints.

Oooo - very exciting! I am happy with what I'm seeing thus far. Trés sleek dahlings...

Absolutely disagree. There is nothing from the E60. More E34 and E39.

The downwards rake of the bootlid reminds me a bit of the Genesis G80. Otherwise, it appears that BMW is departing from the plateau bootlid and may be embarking on a path that "combines" the elements of the current GCs' and standard sedans. This could perhaps facilitate the culling and consolidation of certain model lines/derivatives. This would not be unsimilar to what Audi is endeavouring with its' Sportbacks, which may be evolving into the brands' "standard" configuration, regardless of whether with or without a hatch. Many customers may ask: "Who needs a Gran Coupe when the standard sedan is already so aesthetically seductive ?".

Is it going to be a lift back the rear or will it be normal trunk?

Nice to see it wont have a stupid grill and no double headlight bullshit..

This will be the nest looking BMW
