After so much time looking into spy pics, one can really tell when there is a winner in the making.

And here we have one.
 
I have the same feeling about this car but I'm afraid that I felt the same way about the 8er and was a bit disappointed after it was reviewed.

I think the 8er is a very nice car. It came out in a time when BMWs used to be nice.

If this G60 turns out well, it will have double the merit, taking into account how recent BMWs look like.

I'll give it a shot: When those memes come to reality regarding "how bigger can that front grill get"
 
I lost track ... the N63 engine option will be ditched for the G60? So we will see a B58 hybrid combo as top end solution below the next M5? Any rumours on this (power, torque, ...)?

The rear 3/4 view has me perceiving a somewhat "pudgy" rear wing/wheelarch/boot area design.

I was thinking about that little upswing of the window line towards to Hof Kink....looks so 2er GC..... But it's minor, and will likely look good on the final car.
I like my window line straight on a BMW, and they're deviating more and more from that with all their new cars.

The M5 will too be an I6 hybrid (or all electric). 1000 hp for the M5, so there'll be some room to play. No more V8 that's for sure.

Are we sure? The XM seems to be coming with a hybrid V8, I would not be surprissed if the last ICE M5 comes with a V8.

But I would go for the I6 if I were in charge of the car.

Since you ask, it is good that the brand echoes the cricism of the large grills but going back to the one that had the Z1 is too much

The first impression it gave me is that it has the general stamp that the E39 conveyed, combined with the downward but modern tail of the FVL.
I don't know how the roof line will end but it looks like it will come out very well.
In general, very happy that the necessary generations passed for us to see drastic changes and new design philosophies in all models, which will be followed as always by many and will consolidate the huge sales that confirm that they are on the right track, yes, without lose tradition
 
I give it a 1% chance.

My suspicion as well. il4, il6 and electric with some sort of i5 M (or would that be iM5 ?) topping the range. That G30 prototype with the electric powertrain sporting some 560kW could be a plausible preview.

Agreed. The same will be true for the A6 and E-Class in 2 years time.
