A5/S5/RS5 [Renders] Audi A5 (B10)

This A4/A5 is a major snooze fest. It just looks like a facelift. Why can't Audi make their saloons look sexy again. The smaller grill makes it look like a Hyundai or Ford.

I think this is what effectively replaces the A4 Sedan.

The interior quality of the Q2 is shocking. The Skoda Karoq has more premium materials. Etron SUV is their saving Grace.

I've driven A6, 5er and E-class many times and IMO the Audi is more refined and the ride is better than competitors, its my pick of the range. At 200kmh it feels like 150.

3er or C-class didn't felt so much better than A4, from my driving it had less road noise than 3er and suspension felt more compliant on bad roads.

Some almost-normal spyshots from low-down of the A5 Sportback finally.

A much more traditional, less-coupe roofline now, more reminiscent of the A6. I like it, looks really grown up, even though it's not as sleek anymore. Most likely Audi went with this path since the ICE A4 is fusing into one model with the A5SB, didn't want to fully sacrifice the rear headroom advantages of the regular sedan.

Bonus shot of the A5 Avant, which I think actually looks very sleek, due to the raked roofline, love it.

A5 Sportback.. but more sedan-shaped as I said since it's replacing the ICE A4

Fairly certain Audi won't have any traditional notchback sedans past the current generation of cars that's on sale.. can't imagine it at least.. maybe the A3's electric successor?

I agree with you re: the look of the new A5 Avant, and feel it will definitely be an improvement. I've wanted an A4 Allroad for about 3 years now but have been waiting a year and a half for the new version to be released. Frankly, I'm getting a little nervous that maybe the A5 Allroad won't make it to the US after all. Has anyone at Audi or AudiUSA officially confirmed that A5 will be released here in either Avant or Allroad form?

There hasn't been any official confirmation, but the S5 Avant has been testing in the USA alongside the SQ5, I'm 99% certain it's coming to the US. Many rumours point to it as well, especially with how successful the RS 6 Avant has been.

I believe the Allroad has been cancelled, so only the A5/S5/RS 5 Avants will be coming to the US.

EDIT: And personally, if I were you, I would wait for the B10 generation to be revealed. Personally not a fan of the B9.5s at all.

Good find, there is still a lot hidden under that black, but it looks more like an A6 than an A4, still extremely evolutionary but we will see what it shows in the end

Really dislike them changing the name of the A4, but it does look really good to me. A far cry from the previous car.

The same. I like the looks, but not the change from the A4 to the A5.
