To be fair, and as a lover and buyer of 3ers, I also can’t remember hearing a 3 Series being described as “achingly beautiful”.
Good looking, handsome, well proportioned etc. all come to mind first.

So, in the end, it is the A5 Sedan or rather A5 Sportback? That roofline isn't so typical for a classic sedan, as it is more visually inspired by the rakish Sportback design.

Love that the "sedan" is a Sportback. Smart move imo. Will there even be a sedan?
Front lights are nice but the taillights are very cool. Graphics are terrific and overall effect will be very eye catching.

I’d say the pre facelift front had a lot more character. This is like the E92/3 facelift where the change for the sake of change neutered the front. Those ‘kinky’ head lamps were la magnifique

I owned an E90 and E92 M3. Neither I would describe as beautiful. A last gen Aston Martin DBS? Now that's beautiful.
