EQE [Renders] 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQE

The Mercedes-Benz EQE (V295) is a battery electric executive car produced by Mercedes-Benz Group. It is part of the EQ family, and was presented at the Munich Motor Show 2021.
The looks I get because they were trying to go for something different and in the name of function (tho it's still ugly), but damn you can't get the front body panels to fit any better than that?

That cheap interior ugly design cost 100k but the EU gov panicked because Chinese want to sell fair priced EVs in Europe, they better look at what "the best or nothing" brand is doing to its customers.

That will never happen, André. In stead the EU will do everything to make it difficult for you and me, normal EU citizens. Such a pity what has become of this institution called EU, an in itself good idea, over the past ten to fifteen years.
sorry for the off topic

The shape could be salvaged maybe, but the graphics front and year with the stupid fake grille zone just murders any hope of it looking good.

Which is a crying shame, because the EQS concept looked amazing

Meh, they gave us an USB C iPhone, man! Be grateful.

Meanwhile, there is ZERO tax on airplane kerosine. Which is some of the worst stuff to burn.
And what about TATA Steel you ask? Well, they pay less than a mom and pop store (%).

Yeah, the hypocrisy is too hard to bear.

Blimey, and there was me thinking us Brits were good at playin 'Blame the EU for everything you don't like'! ... anyway, political musings go elsewhere.

Can’t believe it but I’d rather have the BMW.

If I had to have an EV, likewise.
But given the choice I'd rather have the 540i. But if we're allowing the ICE models I'd rather have the E class.

The EQE is just not desirable beyond the badge. It feels like a half-assed product.
Speaking which, apparently Mercedes are updating the EQE/S architecture to be 800V for the facelift so it has access to MMA/MB.EA architecture features.

I've been in Helsinki since Monday. This city must be the EQE capitol of the world, I've never seen so many EQE's in one place before, they are are everywhere. Of the 4 taxis I've caught so far one was a Model Y the other 3 EQE's, I gotta say they are a pretty comfortable, quiet and refined ride, a big step up from the Y. 2 had the standard interior, one had the hyperscreen, the standard interior looks a lot better, the hyperscreen is ugly and IMO pointless. The driver with the Y is replacing it with an EQE. I hardly ever see EQE or EQE SUV in Norway, I think Mercedes has priced them far to high compared to the competition, BMW i5 & iX, Audi Q8.

All Mercedes had to do is price them better, better range, quality and looks. They would have been flying off the shelf.
