EQE [Renders] 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQE

The Mercedes-Benz EQE (V295) is a battery electric executive car produced by Mercedes-Benz Group. It is part of the EQ family, and was presented at the Munich Motor Show 2021.
No reason to spin this any further, as said, to me, it’s a C class because of the way the interior looks, the small boot etc

On EQE boot space, it is even smaller than C class -
The EQE's 430-litre boot is about 110 litres smaller than the one in an E-Class saloon – it's even 25 litres smaller than the boot in a C-Class saloon.

How Mercedes managed to make an EV, new from the ground up, with the footprint of E class and luggage space less than a C class is mind boggling!! Even more so, given others are doing the opposite - making EV size of E class with space of S class.

Yes, it’s a joke for a car measuring 4.946 mm in length and 1.906 mm width.

Indeed, it's odd that an automobile that projects a visual image of being space-efficient is so...not. Lessons here to be learned from Lucid.

Or...what the hell...just go for something genuinely eye-arresting and take the Taycan. It won't have that much less space, the base models' price is in relatively close proximity, its' fit and finish may quite possibly be far superior...and it's a revelation to behold.

Snoozefest.

This EQ line by Mercedes-Benz is an utter fail - at least in the fleet market.

An anecdote: a prominent luxury hotel chain dropped a huge EQS order after being invited by BMW to a private previewing of i7 ... Preordering huge number of i7 cars instead ... Will get them delivered in the first i7 production bunch.

MB should have electrified S-class (especially the Maybach version) instead. EQS just isn't perceived as luxury among luxury vehicles fleet buyers. And right now luxury vehicle fleet buyers are hungry for true luxury BEVs - either large luxury sedans or large luxury SUVs. But there are none available as of yet. Ironically the BMW i7 will be the first one offered. o_O
