EQE (V295) [Renders] 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQE

The Mercedes-Benz EQE (V295) is a battery electric executive car produced by Mercedes-Benz Group. It is part of the EQ family, and was presented at the Munich Motor Show 2021. Production: 2022- Model years: 2023–
Been playing around with the German configurator. It doesn’t seem to allow the combination of Electric Art exterior and Night Pack. According to the price list I’ve got, it should be a permissible combination, but the configurator forces AMG exterior if you want the night pack. Any idea what’s going on?
can choose from ready-made production. No special configuration before 2023

Yes, I was told that is the case for Germany, but not in other countries. But so far Germany might be the only one with a configurator up and running

Dimension comparisons with the E-class. Its amazing how much different it looks, length up only 11mm but wheelbase is 181mm longer, so it has 70mm more rear legroom. It has 50mm more exterior height but more than 20mm less headroom front and rear. The rear overhang is a massive 213mm less. That has sacrificed 110ltr in boot space, 540ltr vs 430ltr. It is also 109mm wider (1961 vs 1852) and surprisingly wider than the EQS and S-class.

The negative thing about the EQE350+ is the price, at 70626Euros it is 13000Euros more expensive than the 20kw (28PS) more powerful, 365kg lighter and faster (5.8sec vs 6.4sec), E300e Hybrid (57,637Euros). Even the EQC400 with 300kW (408PS) and 760nm and AWD is 4000Euros cheaper.

Having sat in the EQE, the fact that the floor is higher up can't be ignored. The extra leg room in the rear is nice but the seating position is a bit less comfortable. You do have plenty of headroom though.

Indeed, this video footage really flatters the EQE.

It’s quite a beguiling design which really hides its size. The front overhang in particular is to my surprise longer than the E class!

The more I see it the more I like it. My only reservation is the size of the boot, which is significantly smaller than an E class and unexpected given the overall proportions. Having the HEPA filter is nice, but feels like it could have been better packaged to enable a frunk.

That said I’m still likely to swap my W257 CLS for an EQE500 4matic assuming I can get one soon in the UK!

Looks very much like the EQS I saw the nom hyper screen version
The steering wheel, inner door and armrests as well as the operating unit for seat adjustement and heating cooling are W206 exact look a like.
To me EQS is more of an electric E class than S class. Spinning that further, yes, an EQE is in my book an electric C class.

Electric C Class priced like a CLS.

Yep, an overpriced EV with the interior of a C class. By the way, a CLS is miles above an EQE in every aspect. Mentioning both in one sentence is almost an act of blasphemy… ?
The price doesn’t make it more than it is.

My opinion is its not a C but yeah this is definitely the E class electric like it or not.

It’s not about liking it or not, it’s my opinion and nobody has to agree. You see it as an E probably because MB calls it an E and it’s exterior size, but hey, MB even calls EQS an S…
No reason to spin this any further, as said, to me, it’s a C class because of the way the interior looks, the small boot etc. I’m going to testdrive one soon as possible and can form an opinion of the haptic and optic qualities of it’s interior, which I suspect to equal that of W206.

Would be nice to know how you find the drive..yes the boot is disappointing.
