EQS [Renders] 2022 EQS SUV

The Mercedes-Benz EQS (V297) is a battery electric full-size luxury liftback car produced by Mercedes-Benz Group and part of the Mercedes-Benz EQ family. It was released in September 2021 in Germany and the fourth quarter of 2021 in the United States.
May be presented later this year at IAA Mobility 2021 in München? :)

ERLKÖNIG: EQS AND EQS SUV STILL IN TEST # IAA2021

While the sales release for the EQS model (V 297) has already been determined, the model is still being tested - as is the EQS SUV variant from the technology brand Mercedes-EQ. However, there are currently no changes to the camouflage level for the models.

Presentation at the latest at the IAA 2021 in Munich

While the dates for the EQS are already known, there are no details about the EQS SUV - at least not from the official side. The EQS model can already be ordered on April 27th, 2021 and will be available from dealers in mid-2021. The SUV offshoot, on the other hand, has fewer details, although we already know that the model may be shown at the IAA 2021 in Munich. This means that the EQS SUV model may also become available to order in 2021. At this year's IAA MOBILITY in Munich , the complete new EQ family can already be seen.

Production of the EQ SUV at the US plant in Alabama

While the EQS is produced in Factory 56 in Sindelfingen together with the new generation of the S-Class, the SUV - like the smaller version of the EQE SUV - rolls off the assembly line at the US plant in Tuscaloosa. Mercedes largely relies on the flexibility of the production facilities and produces the vehicles in parallel with models with conventional drives or plug-in hybrids. Mercedes expects that by 2030 more than half of Mercedes sales will be plug-in hybrids or electric vehicles.

In these pictures it looks like it will be just as long as the EQS and 5.2m is massive for a SUV!

Actually now that u said that you right from the picture above the rear is in line with the EQS the front is a bit shorter so if they in straight line it's just bit shorter then the EQS which is decent size so it won't have a third row..if you look at the roof angle no chance of 3rd row lol

Here's a view of the EQS, EQE and EQS SUV from above, from the recent vid. Seems the EQS SUV may be slightly shorter than the EQS? :)

No frunk even in an SUV? Didn't learn anything from the EQC?

What are they gonna call this? EQS XL?

how much more range can the EQS Suv have...since it will be around 3 tones
If it will have at least the same as the Eqs, around 490-500km on under 0C that will be ok

So the EQA, EQC SUV´s are the same body as the GLA, GLC, but the EQE, EQS SUV´s will be new models apart (like the EQS sedan)?

I'm already dizzy .... BTW, that render augurs something very good, it even looks more Maybach than GLS Maybach itself

The stopgap SUVs (EQA, EQB, EQC to an extent) share bodies and platforms with their ICE counterparts, the BEV-only platform vehicles do not (EQE sedan and SUV, EQS sedan and SUV). Also that render is definitely not accurate.
