S90/V90 [Official] Volvo S90 Official first pics

The Volvo S90 is an executive sedan manufactured and marketed by Volvo Cars from 2016 to 2025. Its estate variant is the Volvo V90.
Really from all the photos the E interior is a dumbed down S interior with some cheap bits from the C, nothing new there. So it's ok for a brand that you like to do this but not one you don't? The word fickle comes to mind.

Fair enough. I guess I think they're a bit too minimalistic for my taste. However, great style no doubt.

Happy now?
But still the Volvo cars are more similar to me, I had to really double check to see which one belongs where and what the differences actually are

Near copies. The C, new E and S are further apart. These Volvos are closer to the G11 and upcoming G30 BMW, in terms of similarity with each other. And I guess it's really not that big of a deal.

Edit; S90 looks better.

Volvo S90 to come standard with a semi-autonomous driving system

Autonomous driving systems are becoming a key differentiator in the luxury segment so Volvo has announced plans to make its semi-autonomous system standard equipment on all S90 sedans sold in the United States.

Set to arrive at dealerships later this year, the S90 will come equipped with the second-generation Pilot Assist system. This will allow the car to drive itself on the highway at speeds up to 80 miles per hour.

In a statement, Volvo Car USA President and CEO Lex Kerssemakers said "Making semi-autonomous features standard in the S90 symbolizes Volvo's commitment to autonomous driving and our Vision 2020." The company also noted the S90 will become the first car in the United States to come standard with semi-autonomous technology.

Volvo is still keeping some details under wraps but the automaker has previously confirmed the S90 will be offered with three different powertrains including a twin-charged 2.0-liter T6, a turbocharged T5, and a "powerful" T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid variant. The engines can be connected to a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive will be available on a number of different variants.

^^
That's a pretty big news and great for the US where people drive long distances to even get to their "local" cinema. Hopefully it won't be lame but can actually change lane, turn and stop at red light.

Holy shite that is a hard hit. Volvo is Volvo. WOW. If they don't get anything else right, they have safety nailed down.

Impressive...Most Impressive.
I will get to see this and the V90 in Geneva this March.

Wow some very nice colours and wheel designs for this car.

Are we getting different tail lights in the EU versus the US? I think they look different in the RL pictures compared to the configurator.

Looking at the video gave me new appreciation for this vehicle.
I love the logic behind European design in general.

I was just thinking if Volvo kept the 760 name plate it would have had some meaning. That model took 13 years to develop and forever changed the design of Volvo. Though boxy as hell, I consider it the grand father of modern Volvo design.

Everything but the rear of the car is great. I hope IRL the rear looks better because in photos, it looks terrible IMO.

I absolutely love it and would choose over the German trio, any day of the week.
I think it's great and wonderfully designed car as well. I'd had a hard time though choosing between the new E klasse or the S90 (assuming it must be a 4 cylinder). That being the case, I'd take it over an A6 and over the current 5er.

I'd much rather have a nice A6 instead if it has to be FWD. Never over an F10 , and not even W212.

Don't even see the beauty some of you see. It's awkward and the proportions aren't even close to the E or 5er. Well maybe pretty close but not good enough at least.
