Yeah… they had screwed up my order. I wanted the dark wood (almost black) but they gave me the mahogany/ walnut (brown), which looked interesting with the coral red…. And it was RWD.. sports pack (non m sport) and had a staggered setup but most importantly had the 6 speed. What a motor that was. 3600+ lbs and 300hp/ 295lb-ft… so so so much fun.

I’m kind of gravitating towards a new M2 to experience that same level of enjoyment. May have to add it to my fleet soon

Nice! My goal is to have an E92 M3 in a few years or so.

I drive an A4 allroad right now which replaced my E90 328i, because I couldn't find any sDrive LCI E91 328i at a decent mileage or price, and not a fan of F31s.

Ideally two-car solution will be to replace my A4 with the S5 Avant when it comes out and an E92 M3 as a weekend/track car.

New M2 is badass too but I just love the E92 M3 so much man.

They are good cars.. but I was a sucker for the E90 M3. A neighbor had a pre LCI in silverstone with a stick. Man used to use it when it snowed. His wife would wait till he got on the driveway and using a shovel would drive the car into his garage… comically genius

didn't watch the video yet, but, OOOPH! Based on that thumbnail, look at the height of front of 5er vs. the E!

*in my worst Austin Power voice* That's no sedan, that's a crossover sedan, baby! 🙁

This comparison was not done at the same time and same place, as the cars are not driven on the same roads, so are at different locations. I dont think it is really comparing apples with apples. For example for the noise level read out, the E-class was quieter with 53.5dB vs 55.0dB in the 5-series and they didnt award extra points for the Mercedes lower noise levels, saying the 5-series noise level was recorded on a rougher road. The ride comfort and handling then could not be really fairly and properly compared in both cars.

I watched it in full and then thought wtf. Their scoring methodology makes no sense whatsoever. Lol.

No wonder we've never seen them before.

Lol I have watched a few of their comparisons but they seem not to compare the cars at the same places so this is obviously a whoever pays more more for their brand I will declare the winner.

I think the idea is that, given the advent of SUVs and the fall of sedans, to make them more prominent and larger so as not to look invisible in the face of those huge tanks.
Toyota Camry, Peugeot,,, Citroen,,, and others are doing something similar with their four doors

I ate the same story with this "content generator" in the video of the S-Class vs 7 series, made even on different days but simulating the opposite, they are "transgressive" lol and they invented comparing without comparing, I call it incompetence to produce as it should
