I will reserve my final judgment until I see it in person. Initially, I didn't favor the i7 when it was introduced online, but upon viewing it in person, my opinion quickly changed. Many details that I initially perceived as being of low quality actually turned out to be quite impressive.

Already seen the 7er IRL many times. Beautiful interior, but the exterior - I can't see nothing to like about it.
Mercedes S - OK.
Audi A8 - meh, doesn't wake up any feelings within me.
Bmw 7er - repulsive!

Best looking EV saloon IMO. It will also be the one that's most appropriately priced.

I believe there are too many lines going on on that car.
Front - not bad, but had it been cleaner - I think it would have been nicer.
Side profile - I see no BMW. If somebody wouldn't know this is a BMW, then it would be able to say this is a BMW.
Rear side - too high, too upright.

I think this is the first time that I like E class more than 5er.

Epic...i knew it from the recent spys and leaks..! The E is already looking dated Bar the front which is actually quite innovative for a mb. The A6...well... i wouldn't go for the black M grille though...it needs to be the tradition vertical louvred kidney grill and in chrome please

E class takes the crown here. Recognizable as a Mercedes however you look at it.
Clean designs. Not too many lines, not too many shadows. Mercedes was wise to play it safe, and I think they have a winner here.

You don't need radical design choices to look beautiful. The E-class looks easy on the eyes, fluent, stylish and distinguished. There is a lot of confusion in the 5 series and most importantly it is an identityless design.

This reminds me of when the new Roll Royce Ghost launched. Proportions look off... But it also looks fresh and based off the pictures on the previous page, the E class looks a bit dated by comparison.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder buddy. Look...its clear you don't like the 5er...and rather than criticising the car on this thread, please head to the E threads and praise it, that way its time well spent!
Its very tempting for me to head down the w223/214/206 threads and vent out exactly how rubbish i personally think they look...but I'd rather spend my time wisely. I appreciate however the proper content you post and your contribution to this place...so i tried to be as kind as possible...
