@rs271 Thanks for posting the concept vs production comparisons. The thing that intrigues me is I don't see what is complicated about caring over some of the basic elements like the front and rear lights into production? The grille? Am I wrong, that it seemed production ready in those photos?

These small changes really have a big impact on the esthetics of the car. So to say will remain 90% the same, you've shown for BMW that's a bad sign. Anybody heard of the saying, "the devil is in the details?"

The front in the render is well implemented. Also the rear. But the tail lights could go more in direction of the render and could be slimmer.

Will the BMW emblem on the D-pillar will find its way into the production?

As boring as that rendering is the real thing will look even duller. BMW should not bother with concepts they raise our expectations unnecessarily.
