Limited BMW 760Li V12 M Bi-Turbo for Middle East is First to Wear Exterior M Badges

A Special Edition BMW 760Li V12 M Bi-Turbo was recently revealed for the Middle Eastern market and it's the first 7 Series to wear M badges on its exterior. But, this is not an actual M Car.

It's powered by the standard 760Li 6.0L twin turbo V12 engine (537 HP, 0-62mph in 4.6 sec). On the exterior, it wears the M Sport aero package and comes with a choice of 19" and 20" M Sport double-spoke wheels. Eight BMW M exterior colors are available, including Monte Carlo Blue, Silverstone II, Imola Red, and more. A dark chrome "V12 M Bi-Turbo" and M badge are engraved on the rear trunk trim, door sills and door handles. Shadowline/black chrome replace the standard M Sport chrome bits.

The interior features full Nappa leather in Oyster color with contrast stitching in orange, blue, red or black, as well as Individual Piano Black trim. The seat headrests features V12 lettering and interior controllers, knobs and more have a ceramic finish.

This limited edition 7 Series debuted this past week at an expo named "You are the Queen" in Saudi Arabia. Commenting the BMW 760Li V12 M Bi-Turbo's presence at the show, Toni Yazbeck, Head of Marketing, Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, said: “High-end fashion is about design perfection – an ethos that mirrors BMW. It is therefore fitting that we choose the ‘You are the Queen Expo’ as a platform to introduce the exclusive BMW 760Li V12 M Bi-Turbo, a vehicle that is a byword for luxury, elegance and innovation.”

The BMW 760Li V12 M Bi-Turbo is available exclusively from Mohamed Yousef Naghi Motors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Imola Red eh? Looks more like Valencia Orange. I've seen it on an M5. It's very hot.

They wrote that eight colors are available among other Imola Red. I think too that the color above is Valencia Orange.

It's still absolutely spectacular if we forget about the name! An Imola red fl 760Li M pack is just sick. Love it.

And it's not an M. It's a 760Li. Like it says on the back. Stop it guys ;)

BMW 720i pops up on the company's German website, disappears immediately

Could have 168 bhp
An entry-level 720i version of the BMW 7-Series appeared on the company's German website but was taken down shortly.

Earlier this week BMW introduced a diesel 740Ld Xdrive in United States and now it seems the Bavarian marque has prepared a more affordable variant for its flagship in Germany. The model in question is a 720i version which was listed on BMW's German website but was pulled down very fast, yet not quick enough as a Jalopnik reader managed to grab a screenshot.

The engine in question is a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter which in the DE-spec 320i (xDrive including) delivers 184 HP (135 kW) or 170 HP (125 kW) in the 320i EfficientDynamics Edition.

At the moment, the cheapest 7-Series money can buy in Germany is the 730d priced from 74,200 EUR so the 720i would be closer to the 70,000 EUR mark.

Maybe only a mistake on the website? I expect a four-cylinder engine with the new 7. But already now?

Why is this being called an "M"?

M

Two reasons:

1. An M badge will make it sell quicker.
2. So the owner can stroke his own ego about how much better his car is compared to the 'normal' cars even though M probably didn't lay a finger on it. So, the owner will think it corners flatter, and handles better when in reality, it's just in his head.

BMW 7-Series Individual Final Edition announced for Paris Motor Show
Designed exclusively for France
BMW has announced plans to showcase the 7-Series Individual Final Edition next month at the Paris Motor Show.

Without any doubt the star of BMW's stand in Paris will be the 2-Series Convertible but the Bavarian marque will also have on display a special 7-Series designed specifically for the French market. Called 7-Series Individual Final Edition, it likely serves as the model's swan song as an all-new generation will be launched in 2015.

Like the name suggests, it was created within BMW's Individual customization program and will be offered with special Individual paintjobs matched with black chrome surrounds and 19-inch alloys. Inside the cabin there's a fine-grain Merino full leather trim with piping in contrasting color combined with an Alcantara roof liner and glossy piano black trim elements.

The 2014 Paris Motor Show will kick off on October 2 with the first press day while public access will be granted two days later.
