Its Silicon Valley its a comedy show by Mike Judge. The man responsible for the films Office Space and Idiocracy which very much plays as a documentary and social commentary for today. If you have not watched it Klier, Silicon Valley is highly recommended and downright hilarious.

Whilst you may not be enthused with Alejandro's presentation style (I have no issue with him) I recommend watching this video. Guy drives a 918 Spyder so he ought to have a decent frame of reference when it comes to automobiles. His review is very insightful. Why wouldn't one want this automotive future? I'm very impressed - there's a lot of cool stuff going on. Thanks @Yaz for the sharing the vid.

I was going to crit the Model X for being more MPV than SUV until I noticed that the air suspension affords a maximum of 226mm of ground clearance - better than that of a Discovery Sport - not that it's ever going to do much travel off tarmac. So I grant it a pass in this sense. I like the six seater option in Alejandro's car too by the way.
I need to move to the US.

Model X ‘malfunctions’ are hurting Tesla’s reliability score
Tesla was featured for the first time in Consumer Reports’ annual survey of vehicle reliability, but not in a good way. The upstart electric car company was ranked near the bottom, 25 out of 29, with the publication knocking the Model X SUV for "abundant problems, including frequent malfunctions of the falcon-wing doors, water leaks, and infotainment and climate-control system problems."
The below-average ranking was a shift for Consumer Reports, which previously broke its own rating system because it loved the Model S so much. But that love affair started going south almost immediately, when it surveyed about 1,400 Tesla owners and used that data to project a "worse-than-average overall problem rate" for new buyers over the lifespan of the vehicle. As a result, it pulled its coveted "recommended" rating for the Model S.
With the release of the Model X, Tesla now has the two vehicle models "with sufficient data" required to be included in Consumer Reports’ brand-reliability rankings. The scores are based on an annual survey of the magazine’s subscribers. Tesla’s overall score was saved by the improving reliability of the Model S, which gained ground this year.
Jake Fisher, director of automotive testing for Consumer Reports, told The Washington Postthat Tesla’s poor showing in the survey was the result of "so many overly complicated features: the front doors are power automated, the middle-row seats are on power sliders... All those things add up in a way that can bring the platform down."
Tesla responded that many of the problems cited by Consumer Reports’ subscribers have been addressed since the survey was conducted last spring. Indeed, the Model X’s falcon-wing doors now open and close at a faster rate thanks to a recent software update.

We engineered Model X to be the safest SUV ever, and today, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that after conducting independent testing, it has awarded Model X a 5-star safety rating in every category and sub-category, making it the first SUV ever to earn the 5-star rating across the board. More than just resulting in a 5-star rating, the data from NHTSA’s testing shows that Model X has the lowest probability of injury of any SUV it has ever tested. In fact, of all the cars NHTSA has ever tested, Model X’s overall probability of injury was second only to Model S.
Model X performs so much better in a crash than gas-powered SUVs because of its all-electric architecture and powertrain design. The rigid, fortified battery pack that powers Model X is mounted beneath the floor of the vehicle creating a center of gravity so low that Model X has the lowest rollover probability of any SUV on the road. No other SUV has ever come close to meeting and exceeding this rollover requirement.
NHTSA’s tests assess both the structure of the vehicle, which must minimize intrusion into the cabin and absorb as much energy as possible, and also the seatbelt and airbag restraint system, which must maximize injury mitigation in the event of a crash. Among the nine subcategories rated by NHTSA, including frontal impact, side impact, and pole impact tests conducted on both the driver and passenger side as well as the rollover test, Model X achieved 5-stars in every category and sub-category. That means that in the event of a serious crash, Model X occupants have an overall 93% probability of walking away without a serious injury – a testament to our commitment to building the safest cars on today’s roads.
