Model S [Official] Tesla Model S

The Tesla Model S is a battery-electric, four-door full-size car produced by the American automaker Tesla since 2012. The automaker's second vehicle and longest-produced model, the Model S has both received mixed reviews from critics and also been described as one of the most influential electric cars in the industry.
A starting price of 70k for a Model S should improve the sales.

Well , Model S is 66k and above...So a new model would be in this range.

I guess most EV adopters already know that Tesla is the best EV maker so they don't need to prove anything with an unpractical 200k Roadster, nobody will buy it anyway.
I think that people who buy 200k cars want luxury, brand name, rarity, which Tesla has none of this.

Tell that to Cybertruck buyers, that pay even 150-200k for one right now...

Roadster would sell like hot cakes, above retail , in it's first run

I heard someone say that Lucid's have a far better interior quality. Can't verify that though.
It looks better , at least.

But it's also more expensive. Even the base Air is more expensive than a base Model S .

Model S is faster , 4WD , comes with a far superior AutoPilot ( years ahead of DreamDrive ) , and many other standard features ( all seats heated , ventilated , heated steering wheel , 4 zone climate control , and premium sound system ) . Also the UI is far better (better , I mean , faster at least ; and reliable ) .

But I guess people already made their choice : Model S sold last year more than 5 times the number of Lucid...

By the way , Tesla cars will receive an update with a totally new UI , the Cybertruck 3D one.

This is absolutely awsome for owners. I can tell you from experience , that when I received the last UI update change , it felt like a new car.

Now that the new Model 3 Performance is out, is the Model S worth paying double?

After enthusiast and celebrities get theirs the sales will drop. But still its cheaper that Model S and has better tech.

Oh, in Europe its much more expensive.

Yes and no.

Only a buyer can tell if it's worth.

For me , personally , yes.

Size , power , cooler looking ( especially how I have it ; Prior Design Package ) . Ride quality is better due to air suspension . Additional driver's screen .

For others , probably not. Not anybody needs the above quoted

But also no , it's a old car design. This is not worth it , absolutely . But again , mine has a exterior package , and for me is like driving something else...

I don't understand how guys like this , with "experience" in this domain , say that there is a 100hp loss, because the top speed is different.

I mean , I can say a perfectly good scenario for a different speed : Different tires.

A bad one would get a worse start , and of course , a lower top speed.

That top speed measured is not the speed that the car is capable , is just the top speed at 1/4 mile .

Do the cars have the same tires? No , they don't .

But I guess , when you are out of content , you start inventing new ones.

Is this car ever going to be replaced?

I understand keeping it on the marker for 10-12 years. For longer than that seems crazy.

I have been asking myself the same… Is it even selling anymore?

According to them , still sells pretty ok , given the fact that it's 10yo .

But there are 0 news regarding any release. And 0 plans.

I don't know what is going on at Tesla HQ , but they totally lost their mojo.

Yes, transparancy has never been one of Tesla’s strong sides….
