Model 3 [Official] Tesla Model 3

The Tesla Model 3 is a battery electric powered mid-size sedan with a fastback body style built by Tesla, Inc., introduced in 2017. The vehicle is marketed as being more affordable to more people than previous models made by Tesla. The Model 3 was the world's top-selling plug-in electric car for three years, from 2018 to 2020, before the Tesla Model Y, a crossover SUV based on the Model 3 chassis, took the top spot. In June 2021, the Model 3 became the first electric car to pass global sales of 1 million.
Audi A4, Mercedes C class and BMW 3 series are going to get clobbered by the Model 3 in the UK in 2020

They need to sort out supply if they're going to do that, so far in 2020 they represent ~36% of the EV market at the very most (BEV Feb YTD: 2508 units - Total unnamed import sales Feb YTD (inc. Tesla): 898 units). Assuming every one of those 898 units was a Tesla Model III (which it won't be, it'll include a number of other manufacturers and all other Tesla products), it's somewhat behind the 3 series, which was at 3648 units at Feb YTD. I only have that number because it's in the top 10 best sellers so far this year, C and A4 aren't, so I don't know what those numbers are, but they are less.

The new registrations in March will no doubt see Tesla channeling a lot of allocation here this month, and from next month EV's get additional tax breaks as company cars, so April could see a big spike too.

I think that the world is abruptly changing and each company will fight to survive. Sales are going to drop dramatically and the manufactures will have to live only on their reserves.

This is why Tesla are scouting for new sites to build more factories on.

Yes, the change will be abrupt & huge. System changing disruption! Mind this COVID19 pandemic will not end this season. Many models predict even worse 2020/21 season.

Damage will be huge. Economical, financial, political , social, psychological ... It will be interesting to see how the world will recover, what innovative solutions will prevail. Since current solutions won't work.

Imagine this pandamic as some sort of WWIII ...

1st video with the acceleration then I will post the consumption. The long range model is impressive in performance, its eerily quiet and sounds like an aeroplane at higher speed.

Long Range electric consumption is higher than the Golf e and BMW i3 but less than the e-tron an EQC.

Tesla says these systems will improve over time, but it's unclear whether or not they're worth the hefty $8,000 price tag at this point.

Despite the name, the full self-driving suite of features doesn't make the car self-driving at this point
and doesn't provide much real benefit for customers.

Tesla collects data from those who buy it to help improve the system, but using developing technology like this on the road does not come without risk for you and other drivers.

We reached out to Tesla for comment regarding these issues, but did not receive a reply.

Refreshed Model 3 is official as of today:

• New Steering wheel

The steering wheel looks the same as the pre-FL, which is a big disappointment. Its one of the ugliest and plainest looking wheels on any car. Some budget cars have nicer steering wheels than this.

It looks like the main change in the interior is the center console.
