Ghost [Official] Rolls-Royce Ghost (2021-)

The Rolls-Royce Ghost is a full-sized luxury car manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The "Ghost" nameplate, is named in honour of the Silver Ghost, a car first produced in 1906. The production model was officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Ghost Extended Wheelbase was introduced in 2011. During development, the Ghost was known as the "RR04". It was designed as a smaller, "more measured, more realistic car" than the Phantom, aiming for a lower price category for Rolls-Royce models.
What makes it better than the Phantom Martin?

M
Looks. By far. How a Rolls Royce could turn out looking like this is beyond me. Big and stately, yet somehow svelte and elegant.
Drive. The Phantom is just too big, to my mind it’s “just a limo” albeit the most opulent. The Ghost II is as much to drive as it is to be driven in.

The Ghost II is an exemplar of less being more.

Interesting. I think the Phantom has a better shape than the Ghost, but yeah the Ghost is more of a drivers car.

M
I find the Phantom to be on the wrong side of gargantuan.

I’m 50 now Marcus, I have the urge to waft. However, I don’t need to be wafted, I want to do the wafting. I reckon I’ll be quite good at that in a Ghost II.

Of course it will be, but a non Black badge is best for ride per the press I've seen.

Yeah, look, you’ve got to be pretty snobby to buy a Ghost but to go Black Badge is just excessively vain.
To my mind, it’s so pointless to offer the Black Badge on a car that's already almost endlessly customisable. I don’t commend Rolls Royce for offering it. It panders to one-upmanship. As if that’s not classy in itself, to then compromise its core character with a “sportier” ride is just baffling.

Wait for the Ghost ///M CSL

It is the very best 4 door car on the planet, better even than its more expensive sibling.

Phantom is better in every possible way to me, most of all in looks.
Just absolutely royal beyond comparison.

The Ghost II is as much to drive as it is to be driven in.

It's the same platform though, so it won't drive much different from a Phantom other than being smaller. Both aren't driver's cars.

I'd troll the second hand ads and buy a Phantom Coupe, I find them the most attractive of all the modern Rolls Royces.

Agreed with you guys, the Phantom is just incomparable in packaging.
The Ghost has its place and has grown on me over the months but the Phantom is head and shoulders above it.
Edit: Phantom any day of the week for me please.

The Phantom is just peak R-R. bit even if I had "F.U." money, I'd go with a "standard" Ghost with some of the Black Badge aesthetics.

If I had "F.U." money I'd get RR to build me a bespoke Phantom Coupe, then I'd trundle on up the M1 to JLR and ask them to build me a new RR two door.
