Ghost [Official] Rolls-Royce Ghost (2021-)

The Rolls-Royce Ghost is a full-sized luxury car manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The "Ghost" nameplate, is named in honour of the Silver Ghost, a car first produced in 1906. The production model was officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Ghost Extended Wheelbase was introduced in 2011. During development, the Ghost was known as the "RR04". It was designed as a smaller, "more measured, more realistic car" than the Phantom, aiming for a lower price category for Rolls-Royce models.

Not a fan of the murdered out look in general, but it's done more, shall we say, "tastefully" on the Ghost Black Badge.

Of course, through the years I asked for it here in GCF many times, and it seems they read me ;) , timeless wheels, although they are in RR now everything is in the family, I would like to see some monoblocks in the new 7, @Matski, please your skills to photoshop those of the RR in the new 7 "luxury version" when you have time.
Those rims remind me of the E32 750iL driven by Patrick McGoohan in Columbo: Agenda for Murder.
I call that photographic memory, what do you take memorex? I wish I remembered things like that.

:ROFLMAO:

You wish... I sometimes pay the same bill twice because I'm constantly afraid of missing the deadline. And sometimes I fool myself into thinking that I have paid a bill, only to find out much later that I haven't... :sorry:

Anyway, this is the 750il in the Columbo episode.

They have a chrome finish, which I'm sure it was not original from the factory.

Pay mine

Great that the photo is in such good quality, the chrome could be from the factory, in those years it was very fashionable in the USA, the same for Mercedes with its wheels, the same ones that were normal in the UE were chromed in the USA (perhaps it was optional )

Somehow now I digest them more than when chrome gave me cirrhosis

Since you posted that memory, the E32 was the favorite star of many movies and series of the moment, it was when the brand exploded in the world more than ever, I think it can be repeated with the new 7, become fashionable, the BMW marketing team is already in talks for "Columbo Resurrections"

I did not know that Brabus ruined something other than Mercedes, this is new.

1- It is the same thing that someone who tunes a KIA Rio would do
2- Brabus logos are the worst of any company
3- A company in charge of restoring classic Mercedes from scratch, in an immaculate way as I have seen them do (they give them irreplaceable cars and are mechanical surgeons), I do not understand how they can do these atrocities

It’s like being on a cloud. What I was impressed by was the utter silence going down the road.

Sounds incredible - I'm jealous that you got to experience that but happy for you too. Unless of course the experience was so good that it left you haunted.

Its the kind of nastiness Supercar Blond would have an orgasm over.

It's funny how, after getting overly exposed to the 7er's extra slim upper headlight units (which you learn to see as the car's actual 'eyes' because it's unnatural to keep shifting your focus between the upper and the lower pair), models with traditional single unit headlights such as this Ghost suddenly appear as having rather thick headlights when they seemed just fine at launch -- and yet I'm one who'd typically go for single units, which by definition won't be quite as slim, rather than split units just for the sake of super slim upper units.

I still find the Ghost beautiful, there is no doubt about that, and I'd certainly pick it over a 7er, but I hope that Rolls-Royce, if and when they're opting for the single unit design, move fast towards slimmer lights, which are now technically possible as we've seen with the Centodieci, i.e. inch closer to their latest conceptual designs (103EX, Boat Tail upper units...), so as to maintain that unmistakably classic style all the while making it obvious that the design techniques and the technology used are cutting-edge. The Spectre though seems to indicate that split units are here to stay for now.
