Ghost [Official] Rolls-Royce Ghost (2021-)

The Rolls-Royce Ghost is a full-sized luxury car manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The "Ghost" nameplate, is named in honour of the Silver Ghost, a car first produced in 1906. The production model was officially unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Ghost Extended Wheelbase was introduced in 2011. During development, the Ghost was known as the "RR04". It was designed as a smaller, "more measured, more realistic car" than the Phantom, aiming for a lower price category for Rolls-Royce models.

That is the old car lol
I like that one too.

That dude in the video above by Merc1 says there are 44.000 options for the new Ghost BB. I'd need two weeks in the configurator room if I were to get one, damn.
Almost 50 kg in paint alone on the bodywork!

But stop that f'ing superhero BS please. Jeez these Americans are brainwashed! Gotta bring in Marvel into everything. STOP IT! You sound like an idiotic kid. Not funny.

The old Vickers built Rolls-Royces would have overheated and started disintegrating during those maneuvers lol.

How expressive in every way, it should be called "The epitome of car culture" or just "Epitome"

The background is just as lovely as the car. Ron Burgundy was dead-on correct.

Motor Trend:
The ride quality gave us the most pause. The Black Badge Ghost still floats like a '70s-era Cadillac over big bumps, but now there's a near-constant vibration, the soft pitter-patter of not-quite-perfect pavement getting passed up to the seats. In a Rolls Royce, it's … well, it's weird, that's what it is. The magic of the Silver Badge Ghost is that it gives the sensation that all roads are paved with glass. The Black Badge car loses that ability to smooth out the surface beneath its tires, and with it dulls that Rolls-Royce enchantment.

All this might be acceptable if it transformed the Ghost into a world-class handler, something akin to the Bentley Flying Spur Speed—which, to be honest, is what we hoped for. But it doesn't. The Silver Badge Ghost is stable and secure in high-speed turns, though rather clumsy on smaller, tighter roads. The Black Badge car is nominally better, but still feels awkward and out of place, as if it's trying to run in dress shoes that are too tight.
After several miles both speedy and serene in the Black Badge Ghost, we switched over to a Silver Badge car. Light and isolated, its driving characteristics felt much more in line with the car as a whole. It's a wafter, not a runner.

Not good for a Rolls.

For me, a Rolls Royce is above good and evil, whether it is handled one way or another. After all, no one can assure you that Gucci clothes feel better than Gap's, their true value is the brand.

Thanks for making me feel poor Marcus.
I love everything about it except the black badge suspension tuning. I could easily live with a standard Ghost II. I'd get by...

F#cking love this car. It's wrong.

Ha ha. Yes even C&D says this about the ride:

We've already established that this isn't a car to make people like you. Beneath the polished and painted body, the air suspension is stiffer, and while a Sport mode would be uncouth, a Low mode on the gear stalk speeds and tightens up shifts, increases the steering effort from one finger to two, opens baffles in the exhaust, and adjusts the air springs and active anti-roll bars to sacrifice just a smidge of the Ghost's untroubled float for just a smidge more upright handling in curves. It is black (badge) magic for a car so large and loaded to be even half this maneuverable, although, for a Ghost, it's a rough and rumbly ride.

I'm shocked at this. A Rolls' ride should never be in question.

This a black badge car. A Rolls to drive rather than guide. Those who prefer comfort can still order a standard rolls and request that it's murdered out.
