Panamera [Official] Porsche Panamera

The Porsche Panamera is a mid to full-sized luxury car (E-segment or F-segment for LWB in Europe) manufactured and marketed by Porsche. The Panamera name, as with the Carrera name, is derived from the Carrera Panamericana race.
I glad you like it Klier. It really reminded me of the bangle Era ... not easy to the eye in photos but makes a huge difference IRL experience. Thanks man. Encouraging stuff ..

I can't wait for my car to arrive.

Today I was at the Panamera presentation at the local dealership. Guys, the Panamera is stunning. I'm not talking about the design - the whole concept is great. Never had such a 'feeling' when I sat in a car - doesn't matter if you sit in the front or in the rear. It's an awesome (sporty) luxury liner with more than enough luggage space. Compared to the X6 and the current S-class it's built quality is impressive! Sayyaaf, you'll love it.

BTW, the Pana is great but I have to admit that I fell in love with a black / orange 997 Mk. I GT3 RS (see todays sightings section).

lol Pornomera :D Pekka, I love it already :usa7uh: :usa7uh:

Its amazing that its almost a different car IRL. I saw all the colors I am interested in, White / Black / Yachting blue. and White is still my choice and favorite.

Haven't seen a white one yet but I think it looks great. Next time when I'm in the UAE you have to show me your Pana ;).

I got up close with the Panamera two days ago at a dealer here in London and I was too very impressed with the car. I'm 180cm tall and was stunned by the extra head room there is in the car. It's a dazzling car that defies logic completelty. It looks low, but yet is spacious as an S-Class but at the same time it's a large car that slay any our four door in acceleration. The car is beyond comprehension. Besides that, I'm falling in love with the design more and more. You guys needs to see the car in the metal, it's a spectacle.

I thought I new what this car looked like until I saw it IRL.

So I'm on a trip to the UK from the States, and drive by a Porsche Dealership, see a Panamera on the showroom floor, immediately make a u-turn and head to the dealership.

Never, ever have I been so floored by seeing a new car since i started following car sites , perhaps it was my skepticism for the countless number of (spy) pics I have seen over the 'years'.

I have always loved the idea behind the the Panamera and was on the fence what looked like a bulbous backside executed badly. I was almost of the opinion the interior was way better than the exterior.

That all went in a flash..........this car is simply stunning, it has style presence and most importantly of all it's design has intent.

The interior which is still stunning takes second place to the exterior design in my mind.

If you have already made your mind up about this car before you see it IRL be prepared to shift your opinion rapidly northward no matter if you liked or didn't based on pic's.

Sayyaf, your gonna love it......

My goodness everyone like it is in person, thats a good sign. I really can't wait to see this car now.

I also seen the car, three different versions. I also had the chance to get inside one of those. The inside is very nice and the I got a cosy feeling sitting there. While the car looks better in real life its still no beauty and not something I would spend my money on but I understand if someone buy the car, afterall its a Porsche.

Now I am reliefed .... everybody seem to like it IRL .. wife, you guys ..

I can't wait ...

Me either. It is very encouraging that everyone likes it in person, or nearly everyone. It is a Porsche afterall so the interior and performance are beyond question. I actually like all the buttons in this case.

Interior isn't a Porsche thing imo. The 996, 997 Mark I, Boxter 1....all quite ugly and cheap interiors for such expensive cars...imho...

We know this Klier, and the 996 interior was awful, but the 977 isn't IMO.

997 Mark I is. Even the Turbo. Cheap plastic interior Porsche unworthy.

I think the one in the 997 is great and the same goes for the Boxster and Cayman (obviously).

I saw my first Panny today and it is a huge car! Maybe that was because it was sitting next to a 997 Turbo...

Unworthy? When the hell has Porsche ever designed a good interior, besides the CGT and the new Panamera?

Loved the interior of my Ex' 928 (GTS). It was developed in the 70s - a lot of 90s Japanese sportscars copied the design cues.

In the (mid-) 80s, the design of the facelifted 944 cockpit was also kinda forward-looking:
