The Porsche 981 is the internal designation given to the third-generation Boxster/Cayman (second generation Cayman) models built by Porsche. Production: 2012–2016. It was succeeded by the Porsche 982.

I really don't understand why companies supply completely loaded cars for reviews. Case in point, an outstanding write-up is tainted by sticker-shock. I went on line to build one and it was around $80K very well equipped. That is still expensive but much more palatable.

I tried to get one into my underground garage, unfortunately my entrance is too steep and the S version with sport suspension too low, going to see if I can get one with a regular suspension down there...

A standard 911 fits in there.... but I think the cayman has longer overhangs at the front ?
 
Oh lord won't you buy me a Porsche Cayman. My family all drive Mercedes, I must make amends!
