Looks nice, but I'm not a fan of the black alloy wheels. Not a fan at all.

Yeah and those in particular are horrible, they mostly look like a cheap fix, something they did in silver and then decided to paint black

At least in photos to see that E in blue (dark colors), with silver wheels it is totally confusing with the S (without looking closely at the headlights), I don't think that is good in the long term, only the size differentiates them from the C, E and S and only because of the taillights of its predecessors.

The E-class is similar to the S in profile but the front and rear lights and intake and exhaust details are totally different. In my opinion it fits the gap perfectly between C and S-class and is distinctive and unique in its own way and probably the best looking of the current Mercedes saloons

Looks alright in base form. I just hope the base engine is powerful enough and, crucially, economical enough for most people's needs.

I am from a time when the base E-class used to have clip-on wheel covers that you needed to strap on with zip ties to prevent them from being stolen or falling off.

But worst of all were the engine choices – naturally aspirated four-cylinder engines that were already underpowered for a C-class, let alone an E-class.

Turn charged 4pot engine produce 400-500nm at relatively low rpm. That’s sufficient poke for pottering and cruising in the car.

Most of his videos are unwatchable for me, but this one is not too bad. The car is gorgeous. The new E53 will be the sweet spot.

I agree and that is what the E should always be, even when all Mercedes sedans are EVs.
