But still you have a point. BMW always uses some LCI and some original for these generational shots, which bothers me tremendously. Be consistent! And as the new model always is a non LCI obviously, they all should be original non LCI.

You can tell how confused and incoherent the E65 and G11 were by the extent of their facelift. E-Class W212 level confused!
The W213 has had the biggest facelift in E class history even accounting for the pontoon delete of the W212. The pre facelift W213 was mostly very vanilla except in the 63 guise
