A million Thumbs up for posting this picture @SCOTT27 !

Just wow! Such a neat and complete looking car. This is my new PC wall paper now! The only thing missing is the chrome window trim! The bulging sheet metal under the bonnet corners holding in the eye brow lights looks is such a great touch - that's one of the first design features I spotted when seeing the pictures for the first time. In love with the M-Sport bumper and that 'perfectly fitted and compacted' design it gives to the front. For this time we are in and how the markets are changing, I think BMW have hit the nail in the design front, bit like how Merc did with the W222, but on another level. Although not a fan personally of only offering a LWB chassis, I think this is the way forward for the flagship segment but (and a big 'But') this idea can only work if the designers go above and beyond on design and make it look like a car out of this world, like BMW have done. Only time will tell on how well it does with sales and the LWB-only option. It would have been very interesting to see what this car would have looked like in a SWB chassis.

In the time machine to another generation of 7er. An Abandoned Calypso Red E32 example in the UK. Currently viewing on you tube a lot of UK based abandoned BMWs left in open spaces, barns and garages never to be seen again. There must be a sad back story to their ownership but the discoveries are fascinating and constitutes “if only” I would bring them back to life.

2-tone takes this Beast to another level. Not a fan but still looks good in some combinations and can see the upper rich class opting for this option to stand out from the crowd. China comes to mind....

Where’s 122?
I didn't get the 122 joke...

Why are they all the same color?
One would think that it is a good time to show variants in the various videos and tests, or is it that they are the first of the "unicolor series" production...

All the cars are individually numbered for the dealer workshop and excellence club. This is not the media test drives. These are just the i7 60e xDrive. They have 740d and the M760e also.

Looking good in the flesh on that L 3 test vehicle but the wheels are too small lol. This car is massive!
The front of the car has rivet evidence to suggest this was a former disguised car that is still being used to finalise and sharpen its level 3 autonomous driving technology albeit now stripped of camouflage. It’s likely this car will be recycled and scrapped when it completes its test cycle.

The 7er profile is not poorly designed.
It has more vertical bulk than the old Maybach because of the battery/ motor pack capacity. This is the reason large wheels look small.

And how the battery under the seats affects the height of the engine?)
