I am actually surprised that there is not an EWB EQS. Maybe they see the same values as the i7 only having one. Or Maybe the Maybach will improve on this?
It's not only the EWB aspect, the whole interior as such of an EQS is subpar to the real S class W223.

I don't think there will be an EWB EQS/Maybach variant in this generation EQS. My guess is, that the next generation will be a S class-only model. No separation between ICE and EV, but one model line. Depending on the market conditions EV-only or an EV/ICE iteration.

The maybach EQS SUV will hit the road in 2023.

Speaking of split lights, frontal verticality, height, presence and monolithic appearance, .................any resemblance to reality is pure coincidence

I will say, one thing I really like about recent BMWs is the fact that their rear lights are three dimensional and have depth and surfacing. It reminds me of the old MBs. I don't like how the recent a current MB taillights are just flat surfaced.

The towering mass of metal from the crest of the front wheelarch openings to the crest of the bonnet uncomfortably remind me of that particular segment of the Cadillac Escalade. No bueno.

I really I'm curious about the haptic qualities of the interior; how does it all feel, the metal (look-a-like?) parts, the crystal elements et cetera.
And I wonder how I will feel, standing next to this battle ship...and I like automotive battle ships ;)

A number of automotive journos appear to be immensely impressed.
