I'd get mine in a light color without blacked out parts, full chrome line and no M pack. Blacked out with M pack is almost ugly imo.

I think it looks good in sapphire black with the chrome trim. Non M spec. Yeah I am not interested in the matt black colour and blacked out grills and window trim, its too Fast and Furious for my liking.

In that photo I would describe it as very representative and luxurious, a nocturnal air that shows it as a majestic car, a limo that at the same time is not a limo.

There you can see it (perhaps helped by the lens and position) XXXXLLLL, but also very elegant for the same reason

When I saw the same in the G11 it seemed like an aftermarket resource but not here, I think it will be very much in demand with this twist

First and last post on this thread: tragic.
Ugliest BMW ever.

I am with you on this. My first and last turnaround comment because I initially liked it, especially with the camo. (The camo btw, should have seriously been considered as an optional appearance package.)
It is just an UGLY-looking car with a big frumpy profile IMO. The tact-on chrome aft of the C-Pillar looks like a complete afterthought.
The fully lit front end looks particularly goofy, like a clown car with fully lit double hatched eyebrows for the kids to wave at.
I am wondering what the hell the designers were thinking when they sign off on this.

I have seen the previous generation 7er face-lift and it is a good-looking car in the metal. This new one just does not cut it for me.

What do we think about a 7-ser coupe,i know it will never hit production but the coupe gives a "natural flow" and i like a lot,is not that overwhelming like the normal model.

There were these pre production press drives, but I haven't seen any review of the actual car yet anywhere.

Comparisons against the S class are going to be interesting to say the least.
