If you're driving most of the time alone, not needing all that space in the back and live in an overcrowded European country, where most parking garages are dated from the seventies and eighties, a time when cars were significantly smaller, you're not happy when cars are getting bigger and bigger with every new iteration.
Driving on highways, there's no problem, but as soon you're getting into a city, trying to find a parking lot, circling around narrow streets, it sometimes occurs to me: a bit shorter and less width would be nice.
It's not that it can't be done, but everytime my cars become bigger and bigger, it sometimes gets annoying. Personally, it doesn't feel like luxury at all.
That not only goes for this type of cars, but for many SUV/SAC even more so, because of their often absurd width.
Agreed.
It's a shame they don't bring EVERYTHING the S class embodies to an E class size. The E always seems compromised in some way whether it's build or ride.
