Either BMW has spent a s***load of money cajoling journalists/reviewers or they've done a very good job with the 7er/i& as the general consensus most of the headlines and some of the reviews indicate it is that this damn near perfect.

I am actually surprised by this.

Come back again in six months or so. By then, the more balanced, more critical reviews and comparisons will be published.

I've never been in an Aldi but had to do a search. I actually laughed out loud upon seeing the below. What have they done to Tony the Tiger?!

LMAO, it's the same over here. Funny stuff.

Even funnier, I saw a test on tv where they randomly asked people on the street to taste the Aldi product vs the original without knowing which was what, and 9 out of 10 chose the Aldi version, I kid you not. All these products are made in the same factories just slightly altered and branded differently (without the AAA marketing so much lower costs apparently).

Also, Kinect for Xbox 360....that cereal box is over date LOL

Yup, there are some generic Aldi branded items. When the avocados are priced right, I get them there.

What I hate is Lidl. Since my inner child is a kid who likes cakes and carbs, their fresh pastry section is like Tony Montana with a mountain of blow sitting right in front of him. As soon as you enter the Lidl near me, it smells so good.

Anyway, enough of my issues and back to the 7er....

I've really come around to the front, but there are three things that keeping me from fully embracing the design, particularly up front: 1) I need to see it in person. 2) Very, very, very spec-specific. 3) While I've come around to it, I have this nagging feeling this could been astounding from day one without the need for a polarizing design where you are constantly internally flip-flopping whether it looks good. Or are you convincing yourself it looks good because of some subconscious bias or past allegiance or because it's supposed to challenge you.

The media have so far have only tested the US market specified i7 M60 and 760i In Palm Springs. So they still have the entry models and the M750e and M760e models to evaluate.
