Finally someone who doesn’t look like a dwarf next to the 7er.Another drive.
He is a giant though. Finally someone who doesn’t look like a dwarf next to the 7er.
Anyway, what I wanted to say, is that many former ICE guys are now into the EV market. Until now, favorites were Audi GT and Porsche Taycan and some lost souls who bought a Tesla. But the one they’re all, and I mean all (!) are talking about and want to have, is the i7. EQS ?! What’s that?
I find that quite remarkable.
I find this interesting, especially a definition of Socialism.Short anecdotal story from the Netherlands.
I do have quite some clients who are true petrol heads. Alas, in the current political status quo in the Netherlands/EU ICE cars are going to be forbidden and EV are forced upon us; talking about sick socialism.

Yeah, it’s totally unfair and I personally think 2050 would be an appropriate year for the automakers to stop selling the pure combustion engines rather than phasing (rushing) out at 2035. This is because by that time (late 2040s towards the early 2050s), both Diesel and Gasoline would have been reaching the point of saturation.I don't, because these people are going with the flow instead of crying in a corner while refusing to buy another car ever again.
I fully agree about the sick socialism part, and I even think it's wrong and unfair.......but what the f are we going to do about it? ICE development has all but stopped. It's not going to get any better than what we have right now. And indeed, in 2035 car will not be allowed to even put a microgram of CO2 in the atmosphere so we're nearing the end of what we love.

What I found remarkable, is that literally no one is considering the EQS. They‘re eagerly awaiting the new kid on the block.I don't, because these people are going with the flow instead of crying in a corner while refusing to buy another car ever again.

Agreed with a fact that the B.E.V. technology is still a long way to go. Plus my country is currently struggling with the infrastructure for most of the non-capital cities/countrysides unlike Bangkok Metropolitan Area which is fine for the pure electric drivers to find the charging stations.BEV is simply a long way off for working properly for many, many businesses since BEV is still flawed in terms of range, charging, charging opportunities and hauling stuff. It's beyond insane to phase out ICE completely. 90% of Europe is not ready for that never mind the rest of the world.

It is remarcable.Short anecdotal story from the Netherlands.
